So let me get this right. EVH are trying to tell an alliance who has gold in their name that they can't be on gold because they've been there a week longer. Come on guys grow up and learn to share.

So we should allow everyone with color in their names to swap to that color? Where is the logic in that? There are 3 alliances that do that. None presently have so this seems kinda invalidated.

Just as with Cam the Good faith diplomacy clause only kicks in once a nap break has occured. You claim it has occured so go find a diplomatic solution in good faith. BTW an ultimatum like EVH has done is not good faith diplomacy.

Honestly if this wasn't such a blatant situation where TGH was trying to abuse a NAP to wage unconventional warfare against EVH and provoke them over it, I'd be way more sympathetic. This almost feels like a manufactured situation where TGH wanted to put yet another NAP to the test.

Statement from Spectre Command: Spectre is in full alignment with our allies in EVH, Spectre views TGH’s recent actions on the gold bloc as provocation and aggression which violates the mutual understandings underpinning our Non-Aggression Pact. Rather than honoring the principles of good faith diplomacy, TGH instead has deliberately undermined the gold bonus for nations by bringing along their low average score allies (THT, AA, etc). Let it be clear that Spectre views this move by TGH as a provocation that demands a firm response. Should EVH require support following the 5 day deadline, Spectre remains open and ready to assist our allies in defending them against any aggression or provocation.

Our alliance is literally called The Golden Horde, if you don’t realize… My nation and offshore was one of the first 10 nations to join Gold (before EVH), within the hour the colors were announced. It should also be mentioned that TGH, EVH, and THT combined maintained the $175k max turn bonus. So this is not about anything more than attempting to assert dominance purely for sport on the part of EVH. We remain open to coexisting on the color, if EVH chooses to remain on gold, which was our stance from the beginning.

The issue at hand is not even exclusively moving in without any sort of communication aside "we're moving, deal with it". At the crux of the issue, it seems fairly evident they deliberately tanked the Gold bonus by having THT, AA, etc move. Nobody is happy about that.

Swapping colors, getting everyone tied you to swap, and then tanking our bonus despite us telling you not to, is aggression. Either move in 5 days, or we will hit you

Considering the NAPs only clause on color blocks was "All alliances go back to their pre-war color blocs" and doesn't mention anything about switching to new color blocs later on I fail to see how that's a NAP breach. If they moved to your previous color bloc before gold was introduced into the game that I could see. but this just seems excessive, could be viewed as aggressive sure but not enough to warrent this kind of response. Don't get me wrong I see where Event Horizon is coming from and I'm not siding with The Golden Horde of all alliances but I feel like this could've been handled better.

Swapping colors isn’t aggression. We aren’t going to militerize, because we trust that you will honor your word that you signed on April 29th, 2025. Nowhere in that NAP agreement suggests we cannot switch colors at will. If you feel like us swapping to gold is aggressive, you are free to feel that way until August 29th. We won’t swap, not now, not ever. Do your worst, EVH.

TGH’s recent decision to move into our color bloc, bringing in allies and extensions and in the process tanking the bonus for those already there, comes despite our attempts to reach out and pursue good‑faith diplomacy. This choice is viewed by EVH as a clear and provocative move and runs counter to the spirit and understanding of the NAP we had in place. This behavior is inconsistent with the spirit and terms of the existing NAP between our blocs. In response, EVH and SPC have begun strikes on THT as a warning. TGH and AA now have 5 days from this notice to move all nations out of gold. If after this time we see no movement, or if we see any effort to arm up, we will extend the strikes to TGH and AA as well.
