The international community! ​The Government of Canada recognizes that Orbis is slowly entering another world war. We have taken measures to protect ourselves such as building up our military, however we will remain neutral. A Canadian Leopard 2 Tank trains in Portage La Prairie, District of Manitoba. We have chosen to remain neutral until further notice, following the attitude of our alliance. However, we feel that it is unfair to ignore the plight of the innocent civilians dying in other nations on our borders while we live on unaffected. Therefore, Canada will be opening it's borders to refugees provided they pass a background check and will obtain a temporary refugee passport. Government officials estimate that we will be able to take in approximately 125,000 refugees, or around 12% of our population, in during this yet to be named war. "For long, Canada has stood as a nation that values world peace and kindness, going to war only when necessary. However, recent events are obviously out of our control. Ever since our inception, in every single world war - and we've been around for three now - our borders have been open to refugees who seek a home. We have historically taken in incredible amounts of refugees for our small population - in the Great VE War we managed to take in 19% of our own population in refugees." "I am proud to say today that we will continue to do this. Canada's target for this war is 125,000. We ask that you respect them, and help them in any way you can - these people will have been through torture and horrific abuses that Canada has never seen before. Remember, these refugees are only temporary as well. Less than 5% of them will be granted Canadian Citizenship after the war ends should they choose to stay as a result of our rigorous immigration laws." "Should Canada go to war, these refugees will be protected however our borders will be shut." "Speaking on behalf of the Government of Canada and all Canadian Citizens - welcome." No one who comes across our borders will be turned down. Khevin has opened their borders to refugees and will only enter war if an ally is attacked. Shi'ites in Valkoan are protesting against this and they are showing their Xenophobic attitude.
