Because of that, we have exhausted our list of Investments and canceled protection status on each alliance above. Most of which are just no longer active in the game. If you're starting an alliance or in a small or micro alliance and you're struggling to stay afloat - here are some steps you can take: Know what you're getting into. Building an alliance is not just about creating an alliance page in-game, there is a lot to put into consideration. Research active alliances first ask questions and figure out if its something you really want to do right now. InGen is filled with experienced players stretching back to the creation of Politics and War, feel free to ask us anything. Have a strategy in place. Its easy to say 'this is my alliance' - what you need to be saying is 'how will I make this last.' Our team is willing to work with you one-on-one to devise a plan not only for the present, but for your future. This includes member growth, military and economic strategy, politics, and alliance aesthetics. Protection. If you don't have it, you'll be raided...simple as that. There is no mercy, apologies, or exceptions....InGen offers protection and a list of other benefits that can be at your disposal as an asset in the Investment program. Consider Merging. InGen often asks certain investments to merge into them - this allows leadership in the investment to focus on their growth solely without worrying about focusing on building an alliance. We promote a "merge till you're satisfied" ethic within InGen Investments. This basically means, chill in InGen, develop your character, nation, and game profile...then set out on your own with solid experience. Do the legwork. It is way too easy to get protection and say "i'm protected" - the other side of the coin is to actual utilize that protection to make something of your alliance, of your dream. The key purpose of protection is to give alliances the chance to grow without being involved in wars or having the fear of being non-stop raided. This is where you as a leader need to take the initiative and push to strive and thrive with your alliance. InGen works with leadership one-on-one with a constant contact method to continue to motivate leadership in our investments, we have a private area within our forums where investments can gather information, ask questions and discuss and communicate with other assets. I do advise that you read through the InGen Investments policies and if you have questions about InGen Investments to correctly ask. InGen Investments is NOT there to slap a protection sticker on small alliances and call it a day. InGen Investments is there to not only protect, but to foster growth in small, active alliances. When these alliances sign on - they are given a set of policies. These policies clearly state that they must hold an active line of communication WITH their InGen Investments & Asset Management Team member - they must also put in the time and effort to better themselves, their nation, and their alliance WITH all of the information and assistance we give them access to. Therefore, alliances that do go inactive are dropped from our investment plan. We do protect their future - as long as they are working towards their future as well. InGen Investments is not about holding your hand. It's about giving you the tool box to your future. It is up to you pick what tools to use.
