In other news the French Government has undergone an overhaul with the complete collapse of the Fourth Republic and the establishment of the Fifth Republic with Charles de Gaulle as President. Seeing that America, proving what he already knew, is not to be trusted with anything he begins to reach out to his neighbors, including Fransico Franco in Spain, the new Italian Government, and Western Germany. France also begins its own nuclear program. Charles de Gaulle also secretly requests for a meeting with the Soviets.
