Popular Post Rozalia
The below effects are for the capital city only, they do not effect the nation as a whole. Damage taken (by all forms) reduced by 30% Income increased by 30% Resource production (Both mining and manufacturing) increased by 30% Commerce increased by 30% Possesses 1 "invisible" Wind power plant, mine (of all three types available to you by continent), farm, Barrack, Factory, Air force base, and Shipyard (see "Notes" below) Pollution increased by 50 Crime increased by 1% --- Reason: Make your capital stand out as stronger/better like capitals often are. The extra effects are supposed to simulate that, including the extra pollution and crime such cities also had. Notes: The whole "Invisible" buildings part was put in because initially I thought of having those buildings simply be active with you not being able to delete them (and them not taking slots)... however realizing that could be problematic I made them invisible so they could just be added in as a nation effect with the capital being the reason for it. Though thinking on it then the power plant would have to removed... yeah seems like it. Which city would be capital: The first naturally. You could allow the changing of capital once every how many days but I'm not sure if that is too good of an idea to allow. Saruman
I like it. Capital's are usually bigger and better than other cities in nations. Hooves
I would like to see some purpose to having your capital be the pride of your nation. Rather then simply another city in the block.
Milkman
A side effect of this will be that it will allow new nations grow slightly faster as well. (which is a good thing imo) 1 Quote I come to nurture the weak; to provide sustenance for those in need.
Jefferson Davis III
Ilike it, it has my vote, and I can handle the pollution and crime, but I like the ups on this, I don't see anything wrong with it, it's not like it's a super big punch to the game. T Servo
The ability to choose a capital would be great. There should be a small commerce bonus for the capital, like 5% or something. I am not certain why the capital should be more vulnerable to damage though. A commerce bonus on the capital would certainly be incentive to develop more than other cities.
