I'm doing my best to understand how food consumption works, but after a few hours of searching the forums, wiki, and countless in-game pages, I just can't figure it out. I understand that soldiers eat 1 unit of food per 750 soldiers, per day, but with my current military, that should be very very little food being consumed. I would guess that the additional consumption is based off of population somehow, but the specifics are not clear. Can anyone help me here? Thanks! However I now have another question: do your soldiers count towards both your population AND your soldier count, or just one?
