I make it very clear when I give money to new members what will go down if they skip state less than a week later without giving the money back. I will come at them in every way I can on every front I can at all times until I break them. I'm really relaxed with my own money. But when it comes to other people's money I've been entrusted with, I have a tendency to not !@#$ around. So far I've had no problems. One reason being what Greatnate mentioned; we want our new nations to grow rapidly and if we made it more difficult they might not be able to grow as quickly as I would like. Further, a new Asgardian of below 50 score is more susceptible to raids and subsequently, assuming they are new to Orbis they are more likely to leave our planet. So far our strategy seems to be working. I certainly see the benefits to loaning money rather than gifting it, but it is my preference to be more generous. Additionally, given that most of the Asgardian bank has been supplied directly from my nation I am not worried about losing another nation's funds. This is starting to change as more Asgardians are replacing the funds that were gifted to them. If this were to happen [it has], my policy is the following: First, I message them and inquire as to why they have left Asgard. Second, I explain that we would appreciate it if they were to return the funds gifted. What happens from there is entirely dependent upon our subsequent communications or lack thereof.
