So I was suspended for 24 hours when a warn point was removed from my profile.

This isn't supposed to happen, right?

It's probably related to the fact that the only way they can remove a warn is by giving you a warn that is worth -1 warn points. Removing your warn must have taken your total warn level to 3, which is an automatic 24-hour ban. Expect a 2-hour ban the next time you have one removed.

While we're on the topic of errors in the warn system, though, I looked through my warn history and the total of all my 1s and -1s comes out to 2, but I only have 1 warning point. So there's a display error somewhere, too.

It's entirely possible that your warn point count was changed manually at some point, which wouldn't be reflected in a record. It tracks them correctly.

No, this isn't supposed to happen, and was likely an oversight by one of our moderators. When you remove a warning point in a situation like yours, it will automatically default to giving you the punishment for whatever your new warning point count is, but it's supposed to be manually overridden in instances where you're removing warn points. I know you can't use the forums in a situation like this, but if you can manage to get on IRC and contact me or leave me a query, I'd be willing to look into it for you.

Is this new policy? Because that never happened for my first dozen warn reductions but that was done for my latest one.
