Many nations appear to be of the opinion that the Reubenian annexation of Yemen was intended to destabilise peace talks between MoG[Corp], Britannia, Laurentia and the SOE. I can assure you that these allegations are false. Now, I'm sure many of you will not accept just one statement, so I've called for a press release today in the hope of dispelling some illusions or queries you might have. There will be time to ask questions, after the official statement is made. First of all, we would like to address the claim that the annexation of Yemen was a calculated move to derail peace talks. This claim is completely false, and insulting to the people of Yemen. Ahmed Haddad was a despicable and callous human being, responsible for the deaths of millions, including his own people, and transforming a region into a chaotic cesspool of injustice, cruelty and backwardness. Reubenia's invasion was to end his reign of terror as rapidly as possible. To claim that we had ulterior motives is to claim that the invasion should have been delayed. To delay the invasion would be to let thousands more die in horrific circumstances. Our annexation simply had the unfortunate side-effect of damaging peace talks. When we realised what we had done, we immediately guaranteed MoG[Corp] right of way to help rectify the situation. We also are aware of Resoria's recent sanctions on us. Since Resoria's justifications are based on false premises, we condemn the irrational and unnecessary action. However, we will abide by the sanctions, so as not to incur further sanctions. On an another note, Reubenia calims to be a freedom nation, but still is making democracies. Additionall, several people appear to give testimony of the cruel treatment under Reubania. "This is how the government of Reubania treats the people they bring under their authority. None of the identifiable faces of the soldiers are in our database of citizens. Furthermore, that street is not in our satellite database of Yemeni streets. If there were truly terrorists in this region then show us where and when they threatened your people. It makes no sense that they could in the first place travel so far and would be capable of pulling of an attack. Umbrella has stayed out of making statements concerning this, however the public outcry this has caused in our borders left us no choice. Is this but a game to you, where the lives of those who must inhabit these colonies are required endure your imperialistic need for more territory? Truly, it is a sad thing to see someone condone such blatant provocation and lack of responsability. When Reubania ceases this destructive colonization, we can engage in civil political discourse. Until such a time, however, I'm afraid I will persist in my hostility. I sincerely hope the NCR can understand the gravity of this. We understand you are a new nation, however leaders have to take the evidence they are provided. Our tech department found no inconsistency in the data, showing there was no edits made. You are making enemies out of your allies while trying to protect a nation hated by everyone. You are saying that he can take land snd rule over people that are not his kind. He is being an imperialist brute conquering left here and right , making lies and just digging himself a grave, always going deeper. All that was needed to be said to Reuben was said partly here too. We have tols you many times, and you still , ignore the fact that you conquered Yemen, you could have made an operation , killed the baddies ans gone away, but the fact is THERE WERE NONE. SOE's Intetest was always the M. East amd knows everything there as it is our homeland and we dont need an european waltzing into here and making lies and telling us what is right and not. We have implemented a travel ban of Reubenians into SOE and any Middle Eastern Country under our influence (aka most of it) and all Ottomans have left Reubenia taking everything with them and they wrre given homes and everything in SOE. All Reubenians were kicked out of SOE , further more all trade was cut and all of the airspace and waters were blocked to Reubenia.
