hidude45454
First: I am enjoying that green glow Second: I noticed that putting recycling centers in cities that have been nuked doesn't reduce pollution by 70. For example, one of my cities went from 345 pollution to 337 pollution and another went from 70 to 58 pollution when a recycling center was added. What's the cause of this, and if it was put into a changelog or forum post, can someone provide a link? Thanks! Finally, a suggestion - just like how going into beige gives a beige timer on the nation info page, would it be possible to do the same for cities that are nuked? For example, instead of giving the game date the nuke hit, the Orbis date would be given, along with the date that all pollution due to the nuke disappears. Bambino
I too had this problem (pelase see images below) and brought it to Hidude's attention (he apparently has more time to craft elegant bug reports). Please see the effects of before and after I add recycling centers. http://imgur.com/a/aUjHb
Ayayay
It says right there in the yellow box that nuclear pollution decays over time. It is separate from improvement pollution and you have to wait two weeks until it fully goes away. It's always been like that. Bambino
It says right there in the yellow box that nuclear pollution decays over time. It is separate from improvement pollution and you have to wait two weeks until it fully goes away. It's always been like that. It specifically says "This city is experiencing the after effects of a nuclear attack that hit on 09/20/2010 (Game time). For an extended period there will be a spike in pollution that will decay over time". I understand the spike in pollution and the decay over time. That isn't the question. It doesn't say that it is separate from improvement pollution (unless that was described somewhere else) so that is why we are asking the question on if there is a bug in pollution or if they are treated as separate quantities (in which case, could we get a separate nuclear counter so we don't waste time/money building recycling centers that don't do anything). Administrators Alex Posted December 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 8, 2016 Malal is correct - nuclear pollution cannot be removed, it only decays over time. I'll see about making that clearer on city pages. Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Ask About It | Got a good idea?
