Techcraft2 Posted May 24, 2016 Share Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Grandmaster Techcraft2 is proud to announce the construction of a new underwater tunnel between the mainland and Taiwan. This tunnel will be about 300 meters below the seabed and be large enough to not only have a highway but also have train lines and a dedicated military transit route in the same tunnel. To save on cost and time, the tunnel will be dug out by detonating small nuclear explosives designed to move large amounts of earth. The tunnel will then be lined and reinforced with concrete and steel. This method of excavation will cause some earthquakes and tsunamis in the region, however, we have prepared our coastal cities for such events. Construction is expected to begin shortly after equipment is in place. A diagram of the tunnel's location. Luckily tsunamis were a considerable concern when the Athretvar islands (artificial constructs as they are) were planned. Velika is interested in building underground cave systems for military purposes, whether they be highways for transporting forces and material, or for storing said material so it is out of reach of enemy airstrikes.
