After our new leader, King Yukiteru Amano, took over the nation, his popularity was initially very little as he was the one who killed our formal leader. But now, he's has been becoming more popular especially due to his actions to extend the influence and power of the Kingdom of Sweden. After recent foreign disturbances, the Swedish colony of Hong Kong and Macau were forced to depend on itself for it's survival which could don't be sustainable. Our King has decided to acquire some new land in the Southeast Asian region in order to produce resources and become self sufficient. After many hours of negotiations, the kingdom of Sweden has added the islands of Luzon, Hainan and Singapore into it's entity. These islands have became a strategically important location as they are located on major shipping routes between Europe, Africa and Asia. Construction plans to build harbours will certainly boost the economy of the Southeast Asian colonies. Trading policies that will be established will be relatively tax free in order to promote trade in the area. Military installations will also be built amongst the tensions that are happening in the region as well. AiOS Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Disturbed by the extensiveness and nearness of the Swedish claims to the main islands of Athretvari, our government has made necessary defensive claims in the area which should not be seen as directed against any other nation, but instead as directed toward Athretvari's own interests. We do seek to have peaceful relations with Sweden, and so also propose establishment of formal diplomatic relations between our nations and negotiations concerning cooperation in in the waters of SE Asia. That perimeter has been established to prevent enemy ships from getting too close to our nation and to prevent aggressive acts near us.
