Losing Ground Control to a Pyrrhic Victory

It's nothing I can't deal with.  Just a little surprising.  I don't think it says it anywhere.

The wiki doesn't seem to mention it and while on that point, it also still says that ground control reduces planes effectiveness to 50%, which of course it doesn't.  You still have to take on 67%.

It would just be nice if these things were clear.

Fair enough.

Shoot a note to Rush.  He is busy for a few days but he can edit the wiki.

It's any victory as far as I'm aware.

This is correct. Any sort of non-defeat result (for a ground battle) for your opponent will result in loss of ground control.

That's rather silly.  Especially when it's classed as a defeat despite losing less of both tanks and soldiers than your opponent.

Well, that's more or less the definition of a Pyrrhic victory. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrrhic_victory
