I have stated that i'm not a fan of removing an aspect of the game that people enjoy and yet there is a balancing issue at hand that needs to be solved. Do you think that people should be earning 30 times the amount that others earn by revenue because they are willing to press 2 buttons for hours a day? I think the argument that "you are just being lazy its your own fault" is very much flawed. I don't want people to suffer, but I also don't want to press 2 buttons all day and at the same time I certainly dont want a major disadvantage because of this, and imo this is absolutely a fair point of view. Imagine for instance that baseball is giving 10 times the amount of money it currently does. Is there a problem or isnt there? I don't think "you are lazy" is an argument that states this cant be balanced in a more fair way. If the current amount of money it gives is better than 10 times that amount, then how do you argue that there is no amount that is more fair than the current.

It is well known that some players have baseball partly automated, i'm not pointing out who they are but they exist. People use auto-refresher browser-extensions to automate baseball partly and whenever a captcha comes up they solve them by hand. The captchas look like this most of the time: its great that captchas exist but if they appear once a minute and all you have to do is click the button once then perhaps its kinda worth it partly automating this. The actually obnoxious picture solving captchas simply dont appear often enough to make botting unattractive. I absolutely dislike the idea of taking a part of the game away that people enjoy, but there needs to be some realization on Alex' part that people make absolute fortunes with something that with a realistic chance is tool assisted. And to be clear i'm not saying that every active baseball player is botting, but to think that nobody at all does it seems a bit naive. This is to a large extent also a matter of balancing the game. You are absolutely correct when you say that it is actually becoming a main part of the game. In the current war people have lost most of their revenue and during all of this baseball players make hundreds of millions a week, funding their war efforts against their broke opponents who for the most part arent motivated to play baseball for hours themself, and it has an actual impact on the war. There is clearly a balancing issue at hand when people make 200m a week with this while others earn 1m a day by revenue during war time. I think capping the amount of games you can play is a pretty fair proposal.

That doesn't explain the bug at hand. If the world graph pages include VM data that the world map doesnt then those graph numbers should be higher than the map ones, but its the opposite and the world map numbers are higher. Also, the world map now displays 720bil in existence compared to the 1.2tril it showed yesterday

I think you can argue both ways, it could be more expensive to sit on someone, but it could also be more devastating to sit on the opponent for the opponent. Usually in games the winner is decided instantly when they have literally no military left, in our case kerchtog doesnt seem to mind the situation all that much.

If you love the game then leaving can't be the best choice. I think it is arguably your fault to some extent if you get couped. Just dont give people heir ever and you are safe. You need to be aware of your reputation regarding getting couped and that people will try to coup you for the lols just because of this.

Yeah, I would be interested to know our loot against Coalition B. Our stance in this war is kinda complex. We were originally asked by Arthur of Camelot to join the war on their side and entered the war intending to go all out supporting them, but then the thing kinda revealed itself as this insane raiding bonanza that let us loot a good 10 billion so priorities shifted and we started to focus on the profit aspect. I think worth mentioning here is the difference that we have done wars against kerchtog with the pure aim of destroying military while all wars against coalition B were raids that could be excused as "preventing kerchtog to loot against those nations first" (though I wont deny our main motive here isn't prevention of kerchtog loot but our own greed). So I would actually argue we are more coalition B than kerchtog and it isn't completely fitting to add us to the kerchtog side, but a coalition C thing seems fine I guess. I'm definitely curious to know the full numbers. edit: I hate to DM Frawley who is already busy enough, so i'll use this post to post my offshores that havent yet been added to the stats in a non-annoying way and perhaps he just happens to see it by chance ?
