  10. I do not know if you are smudging information in your favor, or if you really do not know. Multiple antisemitic laws were ratified under Mussolini, most notably the Manifesto of Race. Since you seem so well read on Mussolini, I will go with the former of my assumptions, as it was the no. 1 hit on Google when searching for Mussolini and antisemitism. Yes, you may argue that Mussolini was loomed over a bit by Hitler, but he quite obviously did not fight that legislature as hard as he did for anti-deportation laws. Secondly, you either ignored my point against supporting Argentine/Chilean Fascism, or you did not see it. Here is the link in case you missed it. Adding on to that same point, Mussolini was deposed and imprisoned by his own government. You seem to leave out some key facts when you argue for yourself and your ideology, which does not make for as strong of an argument as is possible.
  11. Their people hated them then, and hate them to this very day. There are national days of remembrance dedicated to the people which they killed.

  16. I seem to be the odd one out, save for here and there. (1) This was implemented faster than anything else I have yet seen in my time with P&W. This was suggested less than 24 hours ago, giving the community little time to respond. (2) This is by no means helping the "neutral" problem. This is just promoting opportunistic aggression. (3) I like Politics & War because I find it comparable to real life. I have heard multiple users refer to P&W as a political simulator and not a game, and this implementation weens us from where we used to be - a general consensus that P&W is great. I say no to much of anything that could drastically change outlook.
  17. I like to play the politics when concerning war, not fictional medals. I am fine with implementation, but I do not want to have them. So I say no to random spawns, unless there is a way to opt out.
  18. Well I figured that it would be a percentage, perhaps 10% (?) (or it could simply be decided by the alliance, perhaps with a maximum point - I like this idea more), of whatever bought/sold is taken from what you actually get. But this could not just disappear to anywhere, and it is imposed by alliances (looking over it, I do not see why individuals would do it), so the 10% would be taken by the alliance, into the bank. i.e. Person A's alliance has an embargo on B's. Person A buys 20 steel from B, so A gets 18 steel and 2 goes to the alliance (if to be a 10% tariff). or Person A sells 20 steel to B at $1,200 per ton. So $24,000 total * .10, means that Person A receives $21,600 and the alliance bank gets $2,400 (again, if 10%).
  19. I was thinking that a mechanic could be implemented that could add an interesting twist on both economics and inter-alliance politics, tariffs - a tax on trade. This could be set up like embargoes are, being that you embargo specific people/alliances, this would be to discourage trade with specific persons (ergo deterring your resources/money going to a hostile, or condemned, alliance). I find it blatant that this would affect both economics and politics. But also, in address to past suggestions, inter-alliance economic blocs/syndicates/cartels were thrown around before. This mechanic is not, by any means, a mechanic specifically created to form these types of unions, but it will foster something of the sort inherently, naturally. I think that this sates both sides to the original proposal, that there is no true mechanic designed for such economic unions, but there is a side-step to establishing such things... while not being an economic union itself. I believe that this would be a very interesting mechanic.
  20. I really liked this. Good work! I usually do not bother to extensively look over the hefty reads on this forum, but this was a great read. I await the next.
  21. So... Scientology is therefore a candidate?
