  1. Polaris cancelled on bk. I agree with your point, but that doesn't mean you didn't gip your treaty partner. Just because robin hood robs the rich and gives that money to the poor doesnt meant the rich are gonna be happy that their money is stolen.
  2. Article 1 says mutual defense. Both signatories agree to defend each other in the event one is subject to an aggressive attack. NPO was attacked by ts/bk in an aggressive attack. According to the treaty you should defend them. Idk why you keep trying to say its ok to not defend npo. You didnt fufill the obligations of your treaty because doing so would end your sphere. So cancel the treaty and stop trying to morally justify yourself. People are gonna bash you cause you did betrayed them. Just own up to it and move on. Attacking ve puts your sphere in a good spot in this war. It was a great tactical decision, but a terrible pr one. Oh well. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
  3. Its hard to be the middle guy between two blocs. When they fight, one of them will get angry at you. You should just split your alliance in half and tell one to fight ts/bk and the other to attack npo. Then everyone is happy(or not).

    NK hugs

gpa is getting scammed lols. 1st) blackmailed for 1.5 bill 2nd) get hit by 7 guys that do 10 bill+ infra damage due to game mechanics flaws(aka rubble warfare) 3rd) get character assassinated on owf (cowards, non neutrals, foolish, etc) incoming coalition forms in "defense" of NK and rolls gpa
  5. This whole eumir thing is getting pretty ridiculous. Alpha has not accepted peace because Alpha wants a NAP and t$ doesn't. That is the only reason why this war is not over. This apology or no apology has no impact on why Alpha is still warring with t$. As long as t$ decides NAP is acceptable, then Steve will do whatever backflips, apologies, whatever whatever nonsense is required to placate t$ members for his "wrongdoings". If t$ doesn't want NAP, then I guess we will continue this "rubble warfare".
  6. You guys are fast lols. No I think we will nuke cities like Roy's has with 2000 infra and destroy 1750 infra along with a nuclear power plant(no luck involved at all) hehehehe. Also I never said alpha winning, only winners from this war are gpa and everyone else making money off market. @manthrax I dont think steve trusts ts upper gov(especially Partisan) for whatever reason and is constantly on guard for him to pull a fast one over alpha. But yes this thread went straight to hell pretty fast. Also pw forums are mainly pr fight of he said she said whatever nonsense. Steve is much more reasonable in game at least to alpha members.
  7. I dont think you guys are actually winning at this point. More importantly I dont think you guys were ever winning. The new score change doesnt reflect that and makes it look like alpha is getting stomped while we are actually doing ok. Our infra is now so cheap it doesnt matter if we lose it, you guys still have expensive infra to lose. Using infra calcuator---example 10-1500 infra 6,727,776.15------alpha 1500-2000 infra 9,055,712.09-----ts Overall this entire war(if i copied and pasted correctly from war tracker) alpha has lost 8.5 bill in infra cost ts has lost 5.6 bill test has lost 2.4 bill Overall ratio of losses is about 1.06:1 which is basically 1 to 1. So infra wise its basically a draw for infra damage lost. I didnt run stats for last wars, but I think winning would be at least 2 to 1. Idk really maybe not. War goods wise, ts is doing much much better. So good job. But this war certainty has not been a stomp which means alpha can negotiate for hopefully favorable peace terms.
  8. The two situations are completely different. It is undeniable that a ts member post disturbing videos. Ts has not shown evidence that Steve changed pictures, you guys just assume he is guilty. Steve even said he will not lie in a surrender or something like that. That implies he does not believe he is responsible. As for peace talks breaking down, that happens. Alpha gave you terms and you rejected them for legitimate reasons. However on the first couple of pages in this thread ts members implied peace talks ended due to Steve being evil, idiotic, or whatnot. That is not true.
  9. Eurimbgo was reported because some individuals did not like whatever image was there. Those people are not the same people that changed the image. Don't try to imply that the same people changed the image and then reported him. What's the point of that to get him banned? No one cares about eurimbgo. He's just another person who plays the game. There is no master conspiracy to defame ts members. I do not know who changed the image. You guys think it's Steve, and that is possible. If you have concrete evidence please show me.
  10. 6 Month NAP is vitriol? Alpha wants NAP cause we don't want to deal with fighting ts over and over again. That's a compliment. It means we don't want to fight you(we're not scared we just don't like losing). If you're talking about eurimbgo. Don't forget ts constantly slanders Steve and he has taken it rather well because he understands pnw is a game and most of it is just ts pr spin bs. Also a ts member posted a disturbing video in alpha irc, but alpha let it slide because we understand it's the Internet and people do stupid stuff. The game is called politics and war not politics and feelings. I wish you all would stop stirring up ruckus and using it as an excuse for your FA. I can assure you Steve does not think eurimbgo is a rapist nor did he intend to imply that. I know this because normal human beings do not think other people they have never met before are rapists. It really makes no sense. Let's all chill and get back to burning infra.
  11. I have noticed that the stat tracker for war stats aluminum tracker may be bugged. For example, it says Alpha has used around 660,000 tons of aluminum. This means that each member has used around 660,000/30 = 22,000 tons of aluminum. This is obviously impossible as that would be 22,000/3 = 7,333 airplanes a day which no one in the game can even buy. example for today https://politicsandwar.com/index.php?id=132&name=Alpha&type=alliance&date=2016-05-05&submit=Go
  12. Placentia never said alpha's alliance structure is superior t$. He said alpha's model has less restrictions due to fewer membership that allows flexible bank transactions. Less people in your alliance means less people to get oks from to do anything. Its very simple logic and has nothing to do with which alliance is better but with which alliance has more members. Again t$ gov member trying to start shit out of nothing. But really, you're trying too hard now.
  13. Yeah this war gonna suck later on, but that's aggressors advantage I suppose. Nothing that can really be done. Except complain to Sheepy to make war balance changes lols
  14. Current price of steel doesnt matter. Steel usually cost around 2k so the damage Caecus has taken is more about 24 mill. Infra will always cost the same no matter. Also losing infra cost you revenue while losing tanks frees up their upkeep cost lols. Considering Caecus is getting is getting 3v1 and that eventually his military gonna be toast he's is doing relatively decent.
  15. You can't generalize these type of strategys. Rose nations have high infra so rebuilding is much more expensive than for Mensa. youre comparing apples with oranges. Nope, I said you pretend that you loss so people aren't so angry at you. When people hear reps they think defeat. Ts Mensa defeated is much better than ts Mensa draw or even ts Mensa moral victory(since you guys fought well).
  16. @bourn You're quite melodramatic you know. People don't actually die in pnw wars. There's no actual suffering occurring. The profits go to rebuild the damage Mensa took. Syndisphere alliances are not better learners they are just better positioned. You guys did coordinated growth which props to you is a great strategy. Now you can snipe higher nations who can't declare which work great against rose like alliances. However now that you did so much damage the advantage of coordinated growth is reduced. Originally you have 50 nations that could declare on you and 100 that you up declare and snipe. Now that you sniped those 100, there are now 150 nations that can declare on you. (Numbers may not be accurate) This game is constantly changing which is why it's fun. The same strat isn't going to work every time which is what you guys think will happen.
  17. @ bourn Alpha helped rose thiis war. It just happened that helping them hurt ts. To say alpha is a burden that can't carry their own weight is incorrect. Ts-Mensa did do pretty amazing this war but it's impossible to keep this sort of performance up. This is similar to a gambler problem. The gambler wins double or loses everything. Regardless of the gamblers chance of winning each time he gambled he will eventually end up with zero. The expected winnings is positive but the winnings will converge to zero as more gambles occur. Right now if Mensa-ts loses they lose everything cause they have few friends similar to how sk guardian loss everything in that one war i forgot the name of. @mustang Trust can always be built. To keep alpha means you still have a slight chance to recieve help. The chance is still better than zero which is what you have now. Furthermore reparations mean a big deal psychologically even more so than pixel wise. People don't like Mensa cause their personality comes off as arrogant(not my opinion). They have that we gonna beat you attitude that makes other people feel inferior. If you "beat" them, the feeling of resentment dissipates. Let's say you did let Mensa get rolled. Mensa is more than competent enough to not get destroyed completely. Their score is also low enough that repairs are cheap comparatively. Ts sits out a war and instead sells war goods making huge profits. Give those profits to Mensa to rebuild and Mensa is once again back a war strength. Except this time, the opposition against you is less unified. And instead of 2 coalitions facing off you have 2-3 sides. Mensa-ts have the same problem guardian-SK used to have. You guys try to form an invincibility aura which only encourages other people to unite against you. Eventually you guys are gonna lose a war and its better to have a controlled loss than an actual stomp.
  18. Biggest mistake of the war was ts dropping alpha and then disparaging them. Instead of a so-so ally(according to ts) you now have an enemy. Ts dropping alpha gets them no political advantage other than regaining their loss honor or whatever. Woo hoo so great. 2nd biggest mistake is ts-Mensa agreeing to white peace instead of paying reps. This one is more tricky to understand so I'll try to clarify. Paying reps usually means you lost the war. White peace means you tied. Obviously Mensa ts didn't lose the war but if they pretend to think they loss then the upn-ve-rose coalition would break up. These three are only united cause they think Mensa sucks and ts sucks Mensa. Mensa ts pretends to show remorse or good will then anti Mensa coalition disappears and everyone's happy. Instead everyone is now waiting to roll ts Mensa next war. Tldr Mensa ts are butt hurt, don't know how to make friends, and are antagonizing others to form a coalition against them.
  19. Fighting tkr is easier than ts. Fighting tkr also eventually isolates ts. UPN strategy allows them to take less damage and do more damage to the other side. It is strategically speaking one of the better moves it could have taken. If you think having an ally that uses logic to fight its enemies instead of emotional attachment is bad, then good for you. I don't agree with you but you can be upset.
  20. It's hard not to do that in a war with many alliances on either side. Remember treaties are signed between two alliances not between two alliances and all their other buddies. It's unreasonable to assume your friend will be protected just because you are.
  21. UPN declared on TKR because TKR is on the "opposite side". It doesn't really matter who declared on who or what treaties were activated. someone has to hit tkr for their side of the war to win. Upn matches up well with tkr so they did it.

  23. I have noticed a lot of newer players having trouble with getting early attacks so here's some help mainly for those under nation score 100 Tip 1. Don't be afraid to raid. When I say raid, I mean attack inactive nations. You can check their activity on their nation page. Generally if they are gone for a week or more they're not coming back to the game. Just hit them and take their money which they will not use anymore. Not only will you can money for faster than your daily income, You'll also get food and resources which means you dont have to buy them from market and can sell them on market if you feel like it. Lots of people are afraid to attack other nations because they think its mean. This is just a game, you're not actually beating them up. At the early levels, war is the easiest way to get money bar none. Commerce and resource production is simply too cost inefficient in the beginning. Most efficient nation development in this game is from military to commerce to resource or maybe military to resource to commerce depending on the style. However, military is always first General etiquette of raiding are 1. dont be bm no matter what. doesnt matter who started what. its dumb 2. always accept peace when offered. 3. dont piss people off That being said, with first 100 infra you should get power and 1 barrack. Then get 1000 soldiers. Nations can have 5 attack wars at a time. Definitely utilize all of them and attack 5 inactive nations. Neutrality is overrated in the early game. You should always have 5 active wars going on at the same time against inactive nations to maximize profit. Tip 2 Dont upgrade your infrastructure too fast. In the beginning its tempting to spend all your money on infrastructure, but there is really no point. You dont get that much increase in income. Just keep hitting inactives and stock up on resources. Remember that once you buy more infrastructure, your nation score will rise taking you out of range of many inactive nations you can hit. When you feel that you have enough resources upgrade your infrastructure, build military, and repeat. The reason why your nation gets beat up, if it is getting attacked, is because you dont have the resources to fight a war. You dont have resources because you didnt take them from inactives and cant produce them fast enough from resource productions. Tip 3 Dont buy second city too fast. Although its cost efficient to buy 2nd city instead of upgrading 100 infrastructure in first city, its not nation score efficient. This means youll bring yourself out of range of nations you could have attacked to create a cache of resources first. Having 800 infrastructure in first city isnt that bad if you have strong military presence. Tip 4 Always have a strong military of soldiers. Tanks, airplanes, and boats are too expensive in early game but soldiers are a neccesity. Even if you're at peace maintain soldiers to deter attacks on your nation. It goes a long way to have 10000 soldiers for a one city nation. This also means you should also max out barracks as soon as possible. Tip 5 Dont be afraid of other nations attacking you. At low nation score, losing infrastructure isnt a big deal. If you are attacked, recruit as many soldiers as possible and go all out. This shows that you're not a pasty and will deter future raids. Easiest way to mobilize troops is to use server reset time trick. 1. go active at 11:50 pm server time. 2. recruit max soldiers 3. wait ten minutes for server reset time 4. recruit max soldiers again at the new server time 5. attack enemy This trick will allow for 2 days worth of soldiers in 10 minutes or so which is good. It can be also applied to any other military units. Tip 6 Alliances are not necessary but are nice. Just make sure they allow you to raid or give out large donations to your nation. you dont have to raid as much if your alliance gives you lots of money as its a very good source of income, but depends on how generous your alliance is to new nations. However, you still need lots of soldiers to deter attackers. Tip 7 Having lots of money isnt a bad thing. You dont need to spend all your money on infrastracture. Excess money on raids can be used to play the market. Essentially you buy below average price and sell high. Usually gains are not that much in the early game unless youre really good, but its something to do other than raiding inactives. You can also spend excess money on buying military goods like munitions, steel , alu, and gas. These are better than money spent then infrastructure. This is because infrastructure cost increase exponentially and gains from income are linearish (maybe???). Tip 7 Once you have 2 cities and are reaching 100 nation score, you can slowly transition from military to commerce or resources. Commerce is more stable but expensive while resources depends on how good the market is.Still maintain some military but as your score goes up and you join an top 20 alliance you should be protected from most raiders. You must join an alliance once you get around 2 cities or people will gain up on you. Even earlier is fine if they give you money or allow raiding or both.

  25. We could also add bonuses for being in negative reputation so that this benefits raiders too. For example, 100 reputation gives you 5 percent income while 0 reputation give you 5 percent less military upkeep or something like that.
