  1. On the plus side I don't have to add this to the web.
  2. Now we're allied to two horrible alliances.
  3. Lets clear everything up, shall we? Placentica, who will be called Steve for the remainder of this post, was hyper active in game (and on IRC) when the round first started. For those around at the time making buy low sell high deals was extremely profitable. Pulling in an extra hundred k here and there gave a huge edge early on. Steve was also in the most effective alliance-wide growing alliance. Guardian was pulling away from everyone avg. strength wise post marionette in a big way. We kept our bank money low and gave it as growth to lots of people, Steve was not excluded from this. He was given large sums of money by the alliance several times without having to pay back much of it, and was helped to rebuild post war more than most due to taking more expensive damage. I know this because I was the one who gave him those funds. We wanted to keep our top member at number one. Post Marionette war Steve's activity began to lull (see: golf season), and his trade activity slowed. Though he was still about the largest nation and producing massive amounts of resources he still sold a lot, but his buy low less high in mass days were done. Near the same time Steve took his foot off the market gas, another new Guardian member slammed the pedal down. He was likely the reason for the botting market patch, but he was not Steve. How do I know this? I was the main person pushing along Steve's growth outside of Steve himself. I talked to him a lot about working the market, hell. I sent him resources from the Guardian bank (in large amounts) for him to make profit off of and give back some of the funds while keeping some for himself. Steve's growth was entirely due to his activity at the time and Guardian's willingness to shove money and resources down his throat. Thus when he left, he stopped getting those huge packets of resources and cash to grow, and used the model that helped him grow so well on his alliance by having the rich fund growth. For those who continue to push the Steve cheated narrative, you're grasping a straws, straws which only make you look more pathetic. Steve didn't bot. Someone else in Guardian did, and since stopped with the patch. Unless they lied to me when I talked to them about stopping. Regardless it wasn't Steve. Now that the truth is out there, we can get back to DEIC ignoring reality (and probably still complaining about Steve to deflect attention from their own shortcomings [which there are many]) and talk about them storing their money in BoC. Are we at war with DEIC's bank? Is BoC harboring a criminal of war? Will threatening them with renewed war cause them to give up their criminal of war?!
  4. Also take into account not getting large sums of money from guardian.
  5. My impression of virtually all of DEIC's actions/posts this war.
  6. Here's a tip before you put in all the effort to make a suggestion this complex/long again. Put the general idea out there and get feedback/support. Then grow the idea as a group. Dropping it all with numbers and everything right off the bat just makes it doomed to fail.
  7. Upgrade in leadership. Upgrade in treaty status. In one day Cobalt suddenly became an alliance of worth.
  8. >Implying Sheepy knows how to play this game. I think his updates are obvious evidence to the contrary.
  9. I've already said their terms have to include not voting on forum polls for 6 months. EDIT: And instead of Dio Brando, they get the choice between Dio, or Brando. or
  10. You missed your chance to take down Rose. You outsourced that for "strategery".
  11. My only confusion is why is a 17k strength alliance protecting a 12k strength alliance? Just be allies.
  12. And I'm not stupid either. I'll be comparing where you stand versus that 66kish mark once you demilitarize, though you've already starting rebuilding some infra. tS seems to be mad that I'm pointing out that they took damage. Sorry to ruffle apparently extremely delicate feathers.
  13. "Know this! What will come to pass is no longer war! It is endless sacrifice in His name. Blood for the Blood God... let the universe drown in it!"
  14. Sure, when you've got a ton of military still to inflate that score. When you demilitarize I don't think you'll have more than 1 nation above 1500 strength. Though I doubt your enemies will have any.
  15. This war was very much Diabolos/Emily/Clarke's desire as well, so you're not quite on the ball there. For the rest of your post I would normally agree with some, however knowing DEIC's leader is Clarke, and how he acts I'm not surprised he's refusing terms. The bill for reps could be paid off pretty quickly, almost definitely in the span of time another round of war would take. But Clarke's refusal (he's said it publicly several times) to pay the reps demanded and being unwilling to negotiate on it (UPNs reps are lower than the original request IIRC) are what's holding their peace up. You can't blame UPN for being smart enough to know it's over and to get busy on fixing their nations and rebuilding. I hope UPN leaves DEIC, honestly. They've proven themselves to be a pretty crap alliance outside of the time when Mortimer was in charge. They have no honor in their treaties outside of TC, and deserve no respect while the leaders shit on every treaty they've made outside of TC whenever they get the chance to. Outside of NG, of course. Like it's been said in other thread(s), he's the only member of DEIC worth a damn. To a lesser extend Nick as well. DEIC would be much better off with NG in charge and Nick as his second.
  16. It's 1 for the first 100, another 1 for the next 200. Numbers can always be stretched range wise too.
  17. No, you just refuse to understand any point I make, so I let everyone else make them.
  18. You're allowed to be wrong all you want. It doesn't make you right however. Improvements need to be destroyed more regularly, the only time an attack does any real damage to improvements is when a nuke hits a nuke plant. Outside of that it needs to be greatly ramped up to cause any meaningful result. If you don't understand that you're simply disagreeing with me because of your hatred for me, or you simply do not understand. But by all means, keep trying to troll me. You're adorable.
