Say an alliance is attacked for a clearly unjust reason, members of said alliance take to the forums and scream towards the heavens about it. Are said individuals not salty?

Do you actually think that the term "saltiness" can be confined to simply "Losing, and gets upset about it"? Seems to be you should revise your definition before disparaging and explaining to others what it means.
Putting aside my foolishness, I genuinely see your line of concern and understand why in a game called Politics and war, you'd want that to be the case. To be fair I do believe that a proper DoW should have been made. I don't share your stronger convictions on the matter though.
I have but not for some time. I try to avoid team sports.
Well you know what they say, common sense isn't all that common. You can continue trying to disguise your salt but every post you make just makes it seem that the " plan old trash talk" card is a cop out.
It seems the guessing game generates just as much activity. Is your gripe really that you have nothing to gripe about because I'm seeing plenty of gripe.
You can, correct. The reality is everyone acts for reasons and those reasons can often be inverted and have a similar affect on ones rivals.
Say that you did split apart and then Para-Cov signed more treaties, I wouldn't consider you one and the same sphere that is for sure.
It really doesn't. Co-ordination between two spheres does not mean that they are one and the same. The reality is treaties are burnt and will remain burnt.
Sure, it doesn't help the perceptions of individuals but that does not take change the fact the split has happened and is real. I'm sure you all saw the reaction of some of our former allies when it was announced.
