  1. The President accepts Evenstar's withdrawal of militant munitions and support and highly appreciates his respect concerning the state policies within the Commonwealth. In other news, police have captured a man whom is suspected to be one of the two ringleaders of the radical movement. He goes by the name of Niklas Erwin and teaches as a theocracy professor at the Institute of Hohehil. His students say he was a very caring but passionate and charasmatic man, and they are in shock to have see him at the head of such atrocious acts. According to ground reports he was muttering incoherently at the time of the arrest and as such shall be placed within the psychoanalysis ward for testing before he sentenced by the grand jurictor. Hours after his arrest the fighting has not only continued but has infact intensified, says Staff Sergeant Michaels whom has been in charge of most of the ground forces for the past three days. Thankfully, he added, without a head to drive them further into violence these radicals should lose momentum and calm down within the week. We are trying our best to control the situation.
  2. The Commonwealth willingly supports the Great Saxony Empire, though they can only send supplies, as rations and munitions, as they are unable to remove needed troops from the homeland at this juncture thanks to arising circumstances that require direct attention of all of President Hauffman's military attention.
  3. Seeing the influx of support for the old standing religions the president once again makes another announcement, stating that he will not allow a religious civil war and will infact confiscate any supplies that are sent to either side as to be used by the police and standing soldiers that are currently and peacefully trying to bring an end to the conflict on both sides and that any military personnel that are infact sent to train or fight on the behalf of one party or the other shall be peacefully removed from the national borders of the Eastern States. This being said he still sends his thanks to the nations of Chernigov and the Evenstar for their support in the matter. He also states that anyone killed, no matter their religious beliefs, shall be counted as a victim of murder and if the perpetrators are found to be guilty then they will still be punished according to the full extent of Easterner law. This extends to international civilians whom may enter the situation of their own accord, despite the obvious hostilities in the area. Finally the nation is now in a state of yellow alarm, and the public should be warned and kept up to date on events concerning the fighting still raging on in the cities of Diah and Hohehil so that they may be as safe as possible.
  4. The Commonwealth of Eastern States is resolved to announce that as of September 3rd 2000 Orbis date the new church of ChinChin has become the state endorsed religion. This came to be as thousands of people suddenly pledged themselves to this god, most of them leaving work without notice, which left the government no choice, especially in this time of great productivity, to accept the religion. The great president has stated in a conference early this morning however that as always the free workers populous of the Commonwealth can still openly practice their individual religions as per Federal Law. In addition he will not let this religious uprising interfere with the decisions of the State, now or ever in the future of the commonwealth, and expects that the government be lead by level minded officials and not religious radicals. Though much to the regret of the fair President there have been many outbreaks of fighting where ChinChin enthusiasts have clashed with Christian and atheist believers. The fighting started just a day before and, despite the influx of military presence in the area, still has not come to a close in both the cities of Diah and Hohehil where it is believed that the leaders of these radicals, and maybe the ChinChin movement all together, are held. More on this story as it develops.

  12. Morality is a human creation, just like religion, and Jesus of Nazareth may have been a real man but if he indeed was a prophet he was a false one, akin to all before and after him.
  13. In the distance, sitting in the bridge of his airship as he sips a cup of Bourbon, stands President Kraggen, chuckling to himself.
  14. I was wondering if there was any real reason to have different currencies or is it just aesthetic? I mean aesthetic is great and all but I feel it may be a little cool if currencies actually were worth different amounts when traded. This would make the game slightly more complicated because a currency trade tracker, to track the worth of currencies as they are used more or something, and an automatic transaction system would both have to be implemented so that when trading each nation knew they were losing or gaining the amount of money they wanted to. This would also mean that alliances would probably just implement one currency if they didnt want to be complicated. Finally I think it would sum this whole currency Idea up if a player could use credits to create custom currencies much like their flag. Let me know what all of you think
