I like the idea of natural disaster, but I don't like the concept of them hitting and dealing intense damage to one or two nations. Instead, they should affect a region (such as a part of a continent, a peninsula, etc) and damage infra but not as much improvements. I would disagree with beiging nations unless the disaster is very damaging and has a limited range.

Cobalt looks quite angry at us (Vargen Institution, which is Skje's alliance) due to one of our members raiding them for no good reason. They've wrecked our top 4 players, and are itching for more war (see Grealind's post about how the wars expired; this stopped his attack on our largest member.) I'm assuming this eagerness to ruin us has something to do with our color switch to green from blue. But that's just guessing. In addition, if they reacted the same way to other alliances, Assassin Order and International Revolution would be attacked as well. Well, Cobalt did attack Vargen for an entirely different reason: one of our members decided to raid a Cobalt member. So here we are now.

Conclusion: Any big alliance war will tear apart at least one MDP or MDoAP.
