  1. Fraggle, what were the results of the testing. I mean, with such a huge amount of publicity surrounding it, I think those countries who accidentally got hit would like to share in some of the research information.
  2. Why me?! *cries* I personnally think this was the best response:
  3. *chuckles* Ah well, whatcha gonna do? *eyeroll*
  4. You should have saved this for april fools.
  5. I guess I need to step in here and respond, being Warsmith of UPN and what not. Essentially I agree with everything Ole said. Lara came to UPN's attention a while ago (probably just after her creation) and was politely requested to stop raiding our nations regardless of if they seemed inactive or face action on our end. Her response has essentially been "I'll do whatever I want and darn the consequences!" I have given her at least 2 separate warnings that any continued raiding will result in UPN essentially pursuing her until we deem the threat over. I had thought the matter was closed after she said she was through with UPN and had made some reparations (oh, and I might add that certain expletives were added into there as well). Unfortunately, 4 days later she decided to resume her attacks on UPN (I honestly hadn't looked to see what she's done to any protectorates). Because of this, UPN has made the decision to pursue her until she's convinced us that she'll not raid UPN, UPN's allies, or UPN's protectorates. Pursuing Lara is a distraction and we appreciate the show of support most people here have given. We will be happy to coordinate with anyone wishing to assist us in our endevor. I think there is a lesson to be learned here but I don't think Lara will learn it. To me, at least, she's one of those people who thinks she should be allowed to do whatever she wants and that anyone who tries to stop her is bullying her and being unfair. What's being unfair is thinking you can get away with whatever you want and there being no consequences and then complaining when people follow through with their threats of retaliation. So, Lara, regardless of what happens, I hope eventually we can reach some sort of agreement and go our separate ways as amicably possible. Ha!
  6. Looks like you're right. It shows up as 10 mountain time instead of 11. So strange.
  7. Hey, At last game update (10:00 mountain time), I didn't get any income. Bug? Nation link: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=6807 Thanks, Bambino
  8. Yah, the game being hacked and essentially a week's worth of wars and conflict go up in smoke. Shifts all of the power balances considerably, especially if Rose manages to go after tS again and doesn't mess up their blitz.
  9. In light of all the nukes that have been flying over the world, it'd be interesting to have a "nuclear winter" as a consequence of people flinging these weapons at each other. Obviously the mechanics could be left up to Sheepy or the "development" team, but I was thinking maybe -30% on each season and every city on orbis gets like 20 pollution after x number of nukes are detonated within x number of real days (or game days, however you want). So a summer rather than being +20% food production would be -10% food production and a winter would be -50%. Just a thought. It would certainly make people think twice before going for full scale nuclear barrages.
  10. Nation Name: Vagary Nation Link: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=6807
  11. I think you meant they are ayyying with everyone.
  12. Ok, thanks! Now to get sheepys attention....*jumps up and down while waving arms wildly
  13. Any suggestions on how I contact him?
  14. Dont think so. I'm pretty far inland in Tunesia. Thoughts on how to fix this other than buying a couple of credits and moving again?
  15. What happened (describe thoroughly please): I changed my location to Africa but it says I am in Europe. Map clearly shows me being in northern Africa Link to page:https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=6807 Any other relevant information: Screenshot: Cant screenshot from this device.
  16. Maybe instead of having a cap on the numbers of spies you should have put it based upon some other factor (say like infrastructure, or maybe a certain number of spies per infrastructure). That way someone who has a lot of spies and a lot of infrastructure has the same "concentration" as it were as the people with fewer. I've seen this done in other games where it's based upon land or some other factor and your odds of success are your ratio compared to the other person's and it prevents people from stomping "weaker" nations while still requiring the aspect of the game to be actively managed. All this update does is arbitrarily neuter people who have taken the time and placed the resources into investing in their nations rather than people who have decided that they didn't need to go the spy route. Yes, you get the cash back plus some, but that doesn't cover the strategy that you seemingly cut out of the game. Guess we'll see how it goes. Expect it to be pretty crappy.
  17. I have the same problem. I attacked with 810 aircraft and one turn I did the following: The Great Bambino of Vagary ordered an airstrike upon the nation of PowerPrittGlue. The attack was an immense triumph. The Great Bambino's forces lost 0 aircraft, while Sweet Potato seabasstion's defenders lost 0 aircraft. The attack destroyed 299.70 infrastructure in the city of Thermoplast. And then the next attack I did did this: The Great Bambino of Vagary ordered an airstrike upon the nation of Big Whiskey. The attack was an immense triumph. The Great Bambino's forces lost 0 aircraft, while President Jim Beam's defenders lost 0 aircraft. The attack destroyed 66.93 infrastructure in the city of Bookers. Both targets were approximately the same infrastructure. PLEASE TIGHTEN THE AIRSTRIKE RANGE UP!!!
