I would like to see a more diverse group of winners instead of one bloc/sphere winning most of the better awards. I tried messaging a few alliance leaders to see if they want to work on that but one told me he is busy with his job and some didn't reply. If people want to see a change, they should step up and get involved

Every leader has an equal vote (Alliances with more members already have an advantage in the vote for the masses). The winner could be chosen by a simple majority of the votes. But for this to work, we need enough alliance leaders to show interest, besides Kastor's approval

After reading some of the earlier comments from Buorhann and others, I think a panel of voters made up of prominent alliance leaders/gov members would be nice. I don't mind it being implemented for the current Awards if Kastor approves. Take both the vote of the panel and popular vote for the masses into account when choosing the winner. It's nice to see some positive comments amidst a sea of negativity. And thanks for trying to be an unbiased voter! If more people thought this way when they vote, the Awards would be much better. More often than not, people vote for their own alliance and allies for the good awards

His site does not track IPs. It doesn't store any personally identifiable information.

While I support moving the site to politicsandwar.com domain for the next award, there is nothing sketchy about Dynamic's site. I use one of the best antimalware programs and it didn't detect anything bad on his site. If you run a scan on virustotal and other similar sites, it will show that the site is perfectly safe.

Just talked to the team and I have something to propose: Dynamic could give the code to Alex and have him host it here on politicsandwar.com for the next Yearly Award. Would you guys be more comfortable with that?

There are several issues with switching to forum voting at this point: Wasting the time of hundreds of players who have already voted. Not everyone wants to vote again Reducing Dynamic's work to nothing Ruining the radio show which people are looking forward to I think the best option is to let things run their course. Any changes should be made in 2020 Personally I find it pretty ironic that the NPO guys have more spheremates in our team than other alliances and yet they are complaining the loudest in this thread. It's almost as if you don't trust your allies to "watch" the system on your behalf

I understand your concerns but Dynamic is a trustworthy individual who is doing a service for the community. We have also seen a higher voter turnout this year. At the time of this post, there have been 775 ballots casted. The team working on this is from 6 different alliances and we are from different spheres...there is no reason for anyone to rig the results.

Their nations were reset by the admins as punishment, not deleted by themselves. I believe some of them were given a second chance and told that they are going to be banned if they violate the rules again. The most blatant offender was permanently banned. Some of these guys are actually classmates/schoolmates, not multis. The ones in my alliance have learnt their lesson from this incident and won't engage in sweetheart trading again

Our treaty was carried over from the BC bloc which was a non-chaining MDoAP with a supremacy clause. I believe we removed the supremacy clause when we disbanded the bloc. However this is not the only reason.. there were other constraints. We had good times and bad times. I don't really wish to rehash old matters here and just want to say that I wish BC all the best going forward. They will always have a special place in my heart
