Speaking as a founding member of Guardian 15 years ago, Kadin has a long and complicated history with us. Yes, he helped to found Guardian with us in PW and I think a couple other games, but he did spend the first several years of Guardian's existence being one of our main adversaries before joining up with us when that game shut down. I had gone inactive by the time it happened and don't quite remember the details, but I think Kadin's last departure from the alliance left a sour taste in a lot of our members' mouths. Those of us that know Kadin well know that he is perfectly competent and certainly far from a newb, but that didn't stop that post about being deeply engaged with the goings-on from being funny.
