  1. To whom it may concern, citizens of the FSO and those reading abroad; Black Skies and the allied coalition of FSO and Nemesys fighters have decided to end the war, dubbed Operation Moonlight, under the following terms: The war will officially end on Oct. 14, 2023, with no new wars to be declared post-DC to the 15th. Existing wars may end by peace, beige, or expiry, with any erroneously-declared wars post-DC to be peaced individually at the discretion of the attacked nation. Alan apologizes to FSO for the intimation that the RoL split was their fault, or that the FSO was disbanding in January. Alan notes that the attack was unrelated in entirety to Micro-Minute or Orbis reporters/news agencies in general, and was rather focused entirely on him. Alan/Black Skies admits that Nemesys is the best nemesis. FSO and Nemesys sign separate 90 day NAPs and both sides strive to reset relations after the war. Black Skies, FSO, and Nemesys will open embassies for each of the other alliances involved to facilitate this. Black Skies reimburses Thompson $20 in-game for the charcuterie boards he brought to the peace discussions, and admits that they were tasty. Congratulations and a happy rebuild to all fighters involved. A special thanks to our allies, and long live the FSO. Signatories: Federated States of Orbis: Pres. Thompson Vice Pres. 4. We’re so glad that you all enjoyed our little theme during the merge and we were all too happy to give the Wei meme one last ride… Most Esteemed Players, You have entered the Habibi’s Escape Room where your choices carry dire consequences. Know this: escaping this labyrinth is far from guaranteed. Habibi has devoured countless souls, and some who entered were never seen again. The room itself hungers for those who dare to defy it, and it revels in the fear it instills. Within these cursed walls, you will grapple with puzzles, riddles, and enigmas. The path to escape is obscured by malevolence, and the room is designed to shatter the will of even the bravest souls. Many have lost their sanity, lured into a perpetual torment. While some have managed to flee, others have been ensnared, their fates forever sealed within the heart of the enigma. There is no mercy here, only a relentless pursuit of your psyche and your very existence. If you choose to proceed, brace yourself for unspeakable horrors. Your grip on reality will wane as you traverse the depths of despair. You'll find no solace, no refuge, and no escape from the torment that awaits. So, if you dare to enter this abominable domain, remember this: Habibi does not forgive. He does not forget. And he does not let go. May your resolve be your only salvation, Game Masters ————- TL;DR Serene Wei and Skull & Bones merge to form Cypher, 72 hour notice has been tendered to Midgard. It’s bittersweet for us to retire one of the oldest names in the game, but the times they are a-changin’. Thanks for 8 years of Wei, y’all. You never know when you might just see us again. Here’s to the years ahead. Signatories: Davey Deraj Jimmy Alexio Draks Henrik

  5. Greetings! This was literally a shower thought I had. I was busy thinking about why others might want to go into government work in this game. It can be very stressful, to the point where it can have IRL ramifications. So, in order to learn more, I thought I would make a Google Form for government members from all across the game to share their thoughts and reasons. I'll go over the results on the next Thalmor Radio this Friday. The form asks for your nation ID, and the names of the alliances you were a part of. This is completely optional. The rest, however, I do ask that you complete in full. Form Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ApX-UzPCdkYwoWOzdmAe8oABHVHBSUnZIiKWtJcvCUU

  6. I joined the game September 16th 2023. At first, I had no idea how the game worked. A person messaged me a few minutes after sending a message in the Politics & War Discord server. I spoke with him, and he offered assistance, so I decided to join his alliance. I naturally had a plethora of questions but he handled it very professionally. During the first few days in the alliance, I focused on learning the game mechanics and experimenting. After some time the alliance was going to merge with another alliance. This alliance which our alliance was merging with had itself previously been merged from two different alliances. Suddenly, I found myself in an alliance formed through the merger of three different alliances. It was chaotic and I did not enjoy it nearly as much as my first days in the original alliance. I left and joined the original alliance, or what was left from the merger. It had been rebranded under another name and theme, but some of the same people remained, including the person that originally messaged me and gave me so much help and advice. This is my current situation. Lately I am the one that has been the most active in the alliance though I – for now – have less knowledge and skill, at least judging from the activity in the alliance Discord server. Don’t get me wrong – they are currently more skilled players than I am. But I am willing to spend more time than them at the game. It could honestly be due to the fact that I haven't yet earned their trust. There might be things happening behind the scenes, beyond my current level of visibility or knowledge. But from my perspective, I believe my potential is currently underutilized because I'm not involved in the activities I aspire to be a part of. I know I can contribute more effectively than I am currently, but it feels like there's a lack of motivation, clear goals, and commitment at this moment (if I'm reading the situation correctly). My passion lies in reaching the pinnacle of this game, and that's what excites me the most. When I am unable to do so, I feel discouraged. Edit: They are great people in the alliance and they have always been answering questions in a very professional manner, even when someone would have given up on me. Their patience is splendid and I am hesitant I could have found a better group of people to learn with. From my perspective, things have not been going on that much but behind the scenes, above my head things are probably very much happening. It might be too early for me to start getting stuck in but I hope to be able to in the future. This is the part where it gets tricky for me. You see, I’m not like many new players. I’m not like the majority of casual players who log in once a day to attack with whatever they have the most troops of. I’m not the kind of player who enjoys playing without an understanding of why – I am interested in the fundamentals of the game. I am the kind of player who will analyze game mechanics and find ways to optimize gameplay. I am the kind of player who if needed will read sixty pages and make goddamn sure I understand it well. I'm the kind of player who can write several pages of analysis, and I'm also the type who expresses any uncertainties or concerns. I have a passion for problem-solving, mathematics, and the art of language. I love to organize, I love to teach and I love to learn. As time has went on I’ve started to appreciate the game more and more. When the flaws of the initially irritated me, some of them don’t now. When the wiki isn't updated, the official guides become irrelevant, and the news servers are corrupt – it's reminiscent of real life. Of course the most useful, relevant and important information is not going to be willingly shared. It’s a world simulation game after all and I am all here for it. What I am looking for is to surround myself with people that do not only play the game casually by logging in once a day, but with players that take the game seriously and try to get extremely good. Even though I am a beginner so far in lots of aspects, I will relentlessly work in order to improve. I see myself as a hardcore player and want to surround myself with other hardcore players. You’ve got no better student than in me. Aside from the truly competitive gameplay, I would really like to become part of the community and improve both the game and the community. Things like improving the wiki, writing down events and analysis’, or contribute to the news servers. Here are some of my goals going forward: Strive to become a player respected for your hard work, commitment, and dedication. Aspire to lead or be a member of a successful alliance that earns respect from the community. Improving the game and related, becoming a part of those who helped shape its future. Become a more significant part of the community, contributing to news, game analysis, video content, and historical documentation, among other things. Teach new players who have joined the game, just as I received the guidance and mentorship I wished for. If you would like to know who I am, I am seventeen and come from Sweden. I can speak five languages: Swedish, English, Spanish, German, and Portuguese although with a wide variety in skill. My favorite subject is math but I enjoy all subjects. I read a lot of books and I have read a lot of classics, some of the most famous ones being Crime and Punishment and Don Quijote. In my childhood I played a lot of chess, with my chess.com rating at around 1600. I would also call myself a speedcuber, since I average around sixteen seconds with a personal record under ten seconds. I train in calisthenics and boxing. Lately I’ve been listening to classical music, especially opera with Pavarotti and Jussi Björling. I’ve got a preference for older music and movies, in contrast to most people my age.
