Kurdanak
It's also a borderline game rule violation, I believe: Fairness in Trading & Banking Prices and amounts in trades are generally at the player's discretion. In instances where trades and banks are used to funnel money and/or resources from one nation to another, where one nation has no intention to continue playing the game is a bannable offense. Sailor Jerry
Whats one of tbe reason's tk join an alliance if you're a small nation? Well of course......the beer is a good reason, but I'm talking economic opportunities, be it through low interest bank loans or outright grants/aid that dosen't need to be paid back. Why should I, who have been in game longer, have a decent revenue stream that I worked hard on to get where is......why should I have to pay more in taxes then some noobie..........they'll get their money back several times over in the form of those loans and aid money. I think a better idea would be to set it up as an option for the individual alliances to determine what sort of tax system they wish to use, either a straight tax or a tiered system. That would give another aspect to choosing an alliance as well.
Tenages
I don't think anyone is suggesting a situation in which it's mandatory to have a system were the higher tiers pay more taxes. The suggestion is for the option to set the tax to whatever you want in different tiers. If your alliance wants a straight tax, just set all the tiers to the same amount. I.E. you already have the option to do whatever you want in a tiered system.

No one is saying you have to have the rich taxed more (or less...), it's just an option for a good ol' socialist like me. Quote We have seized the means of production.
