Chipside
As of right now, gasoline only works to fuel planes and ships. If all wars stopped and the game suddenly became peaceful, nobody would buy it anymore! So to make it useful as it is IRL, it should give bonuses for players who have it. For example a 5% boost to commerce in all cities, 3% more tax income, etc. Suggestions? Comments? (have mercy though)
Popular Post Kadin
Gasoline is very useful as it is. There is no need to make gasoline more useful or valuable. Watch the price of gasoline when war breaks out. We don't play a game without a war system. Your "If all wars stopped" stuff is irrelevant because war is what this game is largely about.

Also, gasoline is used in many projects, and to build missiles and nukes (which people stockpile whether they're at war or not). 8 Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Adama
Gas is the second hardest resource to manage and hold onto efficiently during war time. At least in my experience, so I'd say its far from useless. Quote If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a roll. There is one you will follow. One who is the shining star, and he will lead you to beautiful places in the search of his own vanity. And when there is no more vanity to be found, he will leave you in darkness, as a fading memory of his own creation.
ELPINCHAZO
I'm looking at your city build and its clear that you have no idea what works and what doesn't. you have 3 cities and 9 refineries but you whole econ is 10 supermarkets. no gas production bonus is going to fix that.
