Vincent Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) Not sure if this is too complicated or can be done Maybe we can introduce a new item called Research , Maybe that can be broken down further into few sub section Research on military technology - Nation gets certain advantage for its military during war Research on Economy - Nation gets certain percentage of bonus income Research on environment - Nations gets reduction of pollution level and some other areas of research . Then the nations can choose to engage one area they would like to research on and gain advantage over others based on the items they researched on. James Gordon Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Cheers to this. A nation simulation I use to play called Atlas Horizons had this until the game shut down. Just make it where we get 1 research point a turn and maybe even make a Library infrastructure were a person can get 1 extra research point per library. Also you could even make an observatory project where a person get 2x the research points. Research points can have 10 levels per area. 1. 100 points: 5% bonus 2. 200 points: 10% bonus 3. 300 points: 15% bonus 4. 400 points: 20% bonus 5. 500 points: 25% bonus Ect. Until you hit 1000 points and 50% bonus. After all, we don't want to make it too easy. Any questions feel free to ask.
