Dwemyrn
As simple as it sounds. Make alliance able to work on project for everyone within them, not just their nation soley. Of course there should be alliance specific projects that are unique rather than just making nation projects available for alliances to do too. Malice
Sounds neat. A few issues would most likely need to be addressed: Scale to alliance score / membership / infrastructure total - doesn't hugely favour alliances with the biggest players or the most members Should require the player to be a member for a goodly while - reduce alliance hopping to get bonuses, change project costs, etc Have sensible caps on number of projects - established alliances with projects set up don't put players off forming new alliances because of the huge start-up investment to become competitive Scale number of alliance projects a member can benefit from to their score/infrastructure - so that it isn't foolish for new players to join any but the already biggest most developed alliance Have an upkeep from alliance bank in $ and resources to maintain the project bonus - nice resource sink and no bonus should be free, even after initial investment
Dwemyrn
I agree. I only post ideas. I love when people help contribute, criticize and analyse, because I'm fairly new so I don't know what would be horrible and what's good. Eviljak
Doesnt need a cap....number of members decides how many alliance projects can be developed. I believe specific projects at the alliance lvl is what should be developed. Nation projects should remain at the nation lvl. Example: 5-10 members * 1 project 11-20 members * 2 projects 21-40 members * 3 projects Quote Esteemed janitor for Church of Cynic ~ may i clean the hearts of men with my blessed toilet brush. Nicholas II
^ Yes. Not all alliances actively recruit. Some wish to remain small, centralized. Mayor
Maybe have special new alliance projects? Like NATO or IMF, or trans-alliance speedway. Who knows, just projects more orientated towards communities. Maybe alliance projects help the entire alliance operate (like multiple spies like the CIA in that vein) or they just contribute higher commerce/taxes that may minimal to the individual but large when added up. However in the end I agree with alliance projects either way.
