John Baraboo
Hey, was just going over my revenue page and noticed I was making 0.05 uranium per turn. But only making 0.54 a day. If 0.05*12 should be 0.
MRBOOTY
That's a difference of 132 dollars, and you're a top 50 nation I do understand why that would be weird and frustrating though, and make you say "what in tarnation?!?" Destroyer
Are you considering taxes of your alliance?
John Baraboo
That is after taxes. And even if it wasn't they would both be Pre tax and .05x12 is .6 Math is math. This math doesn't add up.

Yes you are right. I'm not loosing much money, but over a few months, the money adds up. Also this thread isn't about me making money. It is about fixing problems noticed. It is about improving the game.
Phiney
My guess is rounding error. You're actually making 0.045 a turn, but its rounded up on the display
John Baraboo
So do I get .05 per turn or .05 one turn and .04 the next? I actually have not kept up on my exact bring home amount.
Paul Warburg
Yes you are right. I'm not loosing much money, but over a few months, the money adds up. Also this thread isn't about me making money. It is about fixing problems noticed. It is about improving the game. The game rounds up/down to the nearist number. If the "revenue" is 12.546, then it will show 12.55 per day, however, it will use the 12.546 and multiply it by 12 to get your revenue for the day. It will round up/down based on the "final numbers" but those numbers are not exactly the numbers multiplied.
Phiney
Its just a display error. You get 0.045 per turn
Phiney
The resources you actually have are displayed to 2 dp, but are actually like 4dp or something
John Baraboo
I have been keeping track of it since posting. I started at 68.17 and now have 68.67. It is giving me .05 per turn not .045. The per day is wrong. It does round up each turn.
John Baraboo
I don't know who put Phiney's answer as the best. The problem still exist and yes its a rounding error but it gives .05 per turn and .6 per day, not .54. Now that you know why there is a problem, please fix it. Thanks Edited February 14, 2015 by John Baraboo
