Fukuda Kazuma
I'm currently trying to write a news article about whats going on in the country but almost very image I try putting in ends up in "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community," So I want to ask what images are allowed since the images I post aren't related to Nazism or anything. btw I didn't really know where else to put this

Reagan
Where are you hosting your images? I've never had an issue with .jpg, .png, or .gif, which are the most common extension types. It could be something to do with your image host.
Fukuda Kazuma
Well I usually get the Images from Google since there's so little Swedish-related images in this world.
Reagan
Then when you google an image, make sure you right click the image and select to view it before copying the link. You shouldn't have any trouble.

Arthur James
what about you put statue of liberty with a statue of Marxism or a symbol of empire states upon it? or Pirates of 7 seas? if it is just the format or the sizes of the picture and image which is without sexual, racial harassment there, does it against the rules? hmm? Ren
Make sure you hit view image, then copy the url from the address bar. Right clicking an image from Google search and hitting "copy" will give you a funny Google referral link that will cause problems.
Chaos
The URL of the image must end in one of the following: .jpeg .jpg .bmp .png .gif And you use the image BBCode to put the image URL in. Niklaus
Whatever image you want to use, download it on your PC. Go to imgur. It's a website - http://imgur.com/ Click upload images on top left. Choose the browse your computer option. Navigate to the image and select it. Click start upload. A page appears with your uploaded image with links for it on the right side. Copy the direct link (2nd option). It will end with any of the image extension like .jpg , .png, etc. It looks like this - http://i.imgur.com/69LbRme.jpg Come here. Click the switch like icon. (if you can't find it, see the image at the bottom of this post) The rest of the options fade. BBcode mode is on now. Basically it means you have to write the code manually. Write: [img=] Insert the link of the image in between. (after the equals to sign) Looks like this [img=http://i.imgur.com/hUK1auM.png] Post. Your image will appear - Quote Blood of a king. Niklaus
Alternative method. After you have the direct link copied on your clipboard, come here, click the option to upload images and put the link in it. Click ok. Post. Quote Blood of a king. Heart of a lion. Niklaus
Oh and I forgot, when the board gives that error, it refers to images with wrong extensions (say direct link from google images) not to any culturally or socially objectionable material. Such judgments are subjective. The forums don't scan the image to tell you what maybe objectionable to a certain group of people or what is against the rules set by the moderators. They display errors in your input. Hope that helps. Quote Blood of a king. Heart of a lion.
Dwynn
The problem you're having with google image is that you're likely copypasta'ing the imge link from the "gray box" you need to click the "view image" button to the right to get the URL. Otherwise the URL you're grabbing is to the google page showing the image and not the image itself. Quote He's right, I'm such a stinker. Play my exceptional game!
