right so next lets take a look at the math in the added pdf file 

 

as you can clearly see the crime and disease rate are calculated correctly but the deaths from both arent 

 

i used the formulas on the wiki which i checked back in beta and then they worked

Your error may be in disease deaths. On the FAQ Sheepy has the equation listed as Disease/10 + Base Pop/10 (Which seemingly makes little sense). This seems to be the error in either your or his math. I also used 5.59 if maybe you used 0.559 (same for crime).

 

Disease Deaths: ( Disease / 10 ) + ( Base Population / 10 )

( 5.59 / 10 ) + ( 70000 / 10 )

(0.559) + (7000)

7000.559

(Redone with * instead of + below)

Disease Deaths: ( Disease / 10 ) * ( Base Population / 10 )

( 5.59 / 10 ) + ( 70000 / 10 )

(0.559) * (7000)

3913

 

Crime Deaths. ( ( Crime / 10 ) * Base Population ) - 25

((0.69/10) * 70000) -25

4805

 

Base Population - People Killed by Disease - People Killed by Crime

70000 - 3913 - 4805

Total Population:  61282

You're forgetting about the bonus population you get from the age of the city.

You shouldn't mix up base population density and final population density, as those two are very different thing

 

Population's formula is....

 

(Infra*100 - (((0.01*((Base_population / Land area) ^ 2) - 25)/100 + Infra/1000 + Pollution * 0.05) - Hospitals*2.5) * Infra - (((((103 - Commerce) ^ 2) + Infra * 100) / 111111 - Police_Stations*2.5) * Infra * 10) -25) * (1+City_Age/3000)

 

So your city of love has (70,000 - 3913 - 4808.6168) * 1.0216667 population, which is 62,606

The wiki is not wrong, it's just that some of the numbers are a bit trickier to implement in a correct calculation.
