Eh, they're both pretty similar ideologies when it comes to their end goals. Both seek to establish a stateless society with some form of cooperative economy while abolishing all hierarchies. The difference tends to be that a lot of communists believe a socialist state (exemplified by the Warsaw Pact nations) is necessary to safeguard and advance the revolution (which is step 1) before they can reach the kind of society I just described (which is step 2), while anarchists are just like "!@#$ it, let's just do it now, why wait".
