Second SOE Civil War

Less than one half of the empire is against the Monarchy in SOE. After the two last Sultans, neither has shown much progress but decay. The Former Sultan was not very progerssive so he was not much loved. The Current one has ruined two big cities that made the Ordinary Civilian scared and think "Are we the next ones?". The Sultan has changed a lot recntly but the people are not satisfied with his actions. The People that are satisfied are the important ones, the Governemt mostly, Military, and many Scientists and what not.
The Civil War occured after Protests Against the Monarchy at Ankara. They were hostile so the police kicked in. After that, many revolts have risen up through out the Empire. In Bahrain. Cyprus, Crimea and the biggest area is in Northeastern Anatolia (+ a Syrian Province). The Current Stand-still is made of a Monarchist vs Democratic, but there are tensions of other groups of people rising up. 

Democratic Part of the Conflict
Their Capital is Ankara. Spies have shown that their plan against SOE are Guerilla tactics as they are outnumbered. Their Leader is unkown but the Revolt , at the momment is uncoardinated and a mess. 

The Blue Lines is the attacking Movement from the Democratic side of the Conflict.
They were overconfindet, not being realistic. Their Push was a Major Defeat and they have lost many men. The attack wasn't a total defeat for them, they have aqquired some weapons which were better than the ones they currently used. 
In the Army of the Democratic Side of the conflict, are many non-trained Civilians which wanted to join it. There are many Russian , Iraqi and Iranian Volounteers which are the both external and internal enemy of the Monarchy and SOE.
Their Current Armoured Army is very tiny and it posseses.

The Monarchist Part of the conflict
The Military of SOE has not been influenced by the Democratic side. The Monarchist have a full control of their armed forces, as their training included main tests of their loyalty to the Crown. The Military . The Monarchist side of the conflict have not planned any big Offensives. They are planning to liberate Bahrain, and the Middle of Cyprus. 
In Regards the Monarchist have a bigger army than the Democratic side but as intel shows, the Democratic side gets outside support, not from nations but from many companies and what not.
Only action Peformed by the SOE side was the Defence in the South against the DS (Democratic Side) and they Reinforced Four Important Cities. Istanbul, Sevastopol , Izmir and Adana.

Their Plans for the Future are
A Motorized army push from Iraq through the DS occupied parts of Syria.

The German Tanks and Armored Personnel Carriers drove down the sands of Iraq. They were hunting Ottoman tanks and Soldiers, they quickly spotted enemy tanks and fired their virtual shell. The Enemy tank however fired their shells at the Germans. They took quick actions and evaded the shell, they began to hail the tank. This is FRIENDLY FORCES I REPEAT WE ARE FRIENDLY BLUE ON BLUE...The tank took a second shot...The Germans moved again and the tank line fired their weapons. The tank was destroyed, but in the distance, more tanks were approaching. The Platoon fell back to the allied base. In the base, German Pilots were scrambling, German Infantry in Syrian Port were ambushed by Ottoman soldiers and tanks. The German Pilots moved at attack speed, knocking out a dozen tanks. 

In Istanbul, The Royal Guard took the King. Taking him to the German Embassy where The Royal Marines and Generals were scrambling to address the situation. 

The Enemy is a democratic rebellion originating in Syria and Eastern Anatolia. We can confirm enemy troops have engaged the Infantry Division in the Syrian Port here, and our Tank Regiments across the Iraqi province have been attacked by Iranian and DR Forces. We have scrambled our fighters and our multi-roles attack planes, but the situation does not look good for the Ottoman garrisons in Bagdadah and even in Istanbul. We are making preparations for the Embassy to evacuate and all German Citizens will be extracted. We must radio Berlin and get reinforcements if we are to hold out. The King looked at his options, this was his moment. The moment that would have him in history, for good or bad he would have to act. General Röhe and Minister Reinhardt, radio our troops in Dresden and Klaas. We will reinforce the Embassy and provide logistical and aerial support for the Ottomans. We will not abandon our friends, you have authorization from the King to Proceed. Get me a secure line to Berlin and to President Underwood, we will hold out here until reinforcements arrive. Send the Marines out to round up Germans and send them to the Airport, we will evacuate everyone. Send someone to the Hungadada Embassy, we will also provide them extraction if needed. 

The German Quick Reaction Force in Crete was notified of the conflict. They quickly prepared their 5,000 paratroopers and 50 aircraft to head to Istanbul and Iraq. The Commander notifed Berlin and the TEA Commander as the planes prepared to take off.

Operation Desert Shield was in action.

Commander Lizbon and the 5th Airborne Brigade deployed as a QRF to Allied Troops in, Assisted by the Swiss Light Infantry Shock Battalion, the troops landed in Incirlik where they set up defensive positions on the wall and set up a communications center. 

Commander Bastion of German CENTCOM, President Underwood, and King Raimond were on video chat on a secured line. 

President Tristar, and Commander Bastion. The situation in Istanbul has subsidies, however, we expect heavy fighting and possible artillery shelling of Istanbul.  

King Raimond...You have already declared a state of war, deployed German Soldiers, and engaged Germany in a second civil war intervention without informing the Interim-President, The Senat, or any member of Government....

President Tristar, you will remember I am Commander-In-Chief and have the responsibility to protect Germany, her interests, and people. Regardless, the German Reserves were under attack prior to my demand for troops to defend the King of Germany, and its citizens as they evacuated. 

Mr. President, and your Majesty. The 5th Airborne Brigade is already in Incirlik. It is perhaps feasible for us to recall all our troops send the reserves back to Dresden and bring in Air Power to support Ottoman Forces. Operation Desert Shield will consist of Mobile Artillery, Artillery Batteries, and Planes to support Ottoman forces as they push into rebel territory. The CENTCOM Strategy for Desert Shield is to provide logistically and support to the Ottoman Army as they advance. We will not require boots on the ground with the exception of Artillerymen and Paratroopers from the 5th Airborne Brigade. 

We have already captured the Ottoman Base in Incirlik, and have the 5th Airborne Brigade stationed there with 50 F-17 Fighters and Tornados. Our Fighters in Syria have destroyed over 50% of the enemy armor and began a retreat to Incirlik. Our reserves have loaded up onto transports and ships in the Mediterranian and been relocated to Crete. Our losses are estimated at 5 soldiers killed in Iraq and Syria. We will have more updates when Commander Lizbon reports back from Incirlik. In the mean time, 5 Air Force Transports and 10 planes form Lufthansa are en route to Istaunbul. The Ambassador, the Embassy Staff, and German Citizens number 5,631 in total. King Raimond, you and your entourage are to leave on the Royal Plane. There is no exception, we will need you back in Berlin to help us strategize. As long as you are in Istanbul you are a liability, I expect you on that plane. The President nodded with agreeance.

The Senate of the Republic of Rekishtein has voted in favor of intervention in the civil war in the Socialist Ottoman Empire. Rekishtein has sent their one aircraft carrier, with 51 Fighter Jets, 3 helicopters, 2 attack helicopters, and 31 Bombers, as well as 22,000 troops and 40 tanks on 3 troopships, 7 corvettes, 4 submarines, 14 cruisers, 2 battleships, 13 destroyers, 2 mine ships, and 8 frigates to assist the Democratic rebellion in the SOE.

The troops have landed in Larnaca, Cyprus, which is currently controlled by the rebels. Rekishtein hopes that our forces will assist the Rebels in their effort to overthrow the Sultan. Our first goal is to liberate Cyprus from Monarchist forces in order to create a base of operations for attacks into coastal regions of the SOE, and thus have launched several attacks to the northern parts of Cyprus. Rebel and Rekish ground troops will be supported by Rekish air forces.

Rekish and Democratic forces have also heavily fortified the beaches of Rebel-controlled Cyprus. Fortifications have also been built on the current southern border between Rebel-controlled and SOE-controlled Cyprus.

Lelouch nibbled on his cinnamon waffle from the Avalon which surveyed the conflict. As the Arabian Colony linked together with the SOE, Lelouch was able to peacefully plot either against or for the Sultan. A choice that has been yet to make. However, a large bulk of troops has been amassing on the border to isolate and destroy an enemy target within hours.

"While the Sultan is more of an ally, I don't like the rebels, this isn't for democracy." Lelouch downed his waffle with some tea. "This is probably just another attempt for power...a plot against the current government." Lelouch mapped out both a rebel counter-attack and a sultan counter-attack. An attack from Britannia was nearing, however, who or where was yet to fall on the chess board.

The various military movements did not go unnoticed by the corporation, and preparations were made to enter the conflict when certain events were to occur. The swollen army in the  Empty Quarter would be doubled, with the minimal force in the Suez reinforced and used as a staging ground for the next step of the operation. Drone surveillance already in place to observe the Walpurgis border regions would be further expanded to include all current SOE holdings to determine the best scenarios for helping either side, depending on what other nations elected to involve themselves.

The German Embassy in Istanbul was quickly evacuated. Alongside 5,631 German civilians, the planes were escorted back to Germany. The 10 ATLAS Air Transports arrived in Istanbul. Bringing Anti-tank, Weapons, Panzerfausts, Stingers, and other ammunition to Ottoman Troops. In Incirlik, The Royal Airforce supported the Ottoman Counter Attack and destroyed enemy tanks as they attempted to cross into the district. The 120th Artillery Platoon also set up behind Ottoman lines as they suppressed enemy charges at the Ottomans. Hungadada's Embassy and Citizens were also rescued from The SOE by Lufthansa and Germany Military

King Raimond and his Ministers and Generals bid farewell to the Sultan and his ministers. Promising more aid and support, the King boarded a royal aircraft and flew back to Berlin to meet President Tristar. 

German Sattlielies noticed a massive enemy armada arriving near Cyprus. In the direct confrontation of the German Air Base in Incirlik. The German Royal Airforce bombed Rebel outposts across the Syrian Border. The Airbase was to receive 30 Tornado ECRs and 20 German Hornets armed with Anti-Ship Missiles. An additional 12 Coastal Batteries were deployed to protect the Base itself.

While on a pre-arranged diplomatic mission, German Soldiers training with Ottoman Soldiers were attacked. 5 Members of the German Army Reserve were killed, and 2 tanks were badly damaged. With quick intuition, German Reservists defended their positions and were safely evacuated to The German Military Base in Dresden. 

The German Airforce has commandeered the old, Ottoman base in Incirlik. German Fighters, Bombers, and Paratroopers are using the base as our FOB. Over 5,000 German Troops and 300 Pilots are stationed in The SOE with 2 Navy Missile Cruisers and 3 Destroyers on the Coast of Syria supporting and evacuating German Soldiers and Civilians as Ottoman Soldiers press onwards. 

The German Embassy in Istanbul was evacuated, and over 6,000 civilians as well. We have also brought an unconfirmed number of Hungadada Civilians and Ambassador/Embassy Staff back to Germany where they will transit back to Port Royalty. The German Government condemns the support of rebel groups against the Legitimate Government of the Ottman Empire. War is not in anyone's favor and we call on international support to pressure nations to cease supporting the Democratic Rebels. The German Military will be in an active supporting role of the Socialist Ottoman Empire, however, and will not have ground forces fighting inside the Empire

TRPO Official State Press Release:

The Rekish Navy has sent 70,000 troops and 70 tanks to assist the Rebels. They also have with them 89 towed artillery, 48 MRLSs, 193 SPGs, and 304 AFVs. The troops and tanks landed on the unclaimed beaches of southern mainland Greece.

The 3rd Army landed where the gold arrow points, and have marched as far as the orange arrow's head.

The transport ships used to transport the troops have begun their journey back to Rekishtein.

The Situation on the Monarchist Side.
Their Army is split and many armoured forces are at Istanbul protecting it (not 50:50 split btw)
The Monarchist Forces have left Cyprus as they saw no point of wasting men in this stage of the Conflict.
They have used a Scorched earth Tactic. They burned, exploded, etc everything in Cyprus and left it abbandoned.

The DS has seen some Britannian units going at the border that was controlled by DS. They were commanded to peform a sneak assault on the Britannian forces to destroy the forces without them retaliating.
Three Transport Vechiles have been sent to peform an attack on the Britannian Forces. A Monarchist Artillery Squad has spotted them. Both the Britannians and Ottomans have been notified. They have not revealed their presence, they waited for the Britannian Reaction. The Ottoman Command was to Support the Britannian Units after or before the assault, it was the choise of the Artillery Squad to make the decision. 
The Rebels that attacked the Britannian base were mostly planning to peform an attack with many explosives but they have been detected beforehand. Two cars have been destroyed during the fight itself (I'll leave for Lelouch to put the Causalities of his Forces) and the other rebel car tried to flee but the Monarchists have cut blown them up in a try to escape , with a RPG. This action was Peformed in an Iraqi Desert. The Monarchists have messaged the Britannian forces and told them that they are only present there to defend Britannian against any attacks like this from the rebels, it was a Personal Request from the Sultan himself.

Northern Cyprus is controlled by the DS now but as said before, everything there is only rubble.

Moreso on the Monrachist Side, Volounteers from Qatar have  been supported by the governemt with Transport ships, weapons and equipment. They have landed in Bahrain to find weak, not so loyal DS units. They were without any strong weapons or supplies.
The Ottoman Navy has blocked off the Straits so no supplies can come to the Main Rebel Forces
The Outskirts of Istanbul are heavily fortified with many minefields placed in easily-passable terrain and Many mines have been dropped in the Sea between the straits, with a few mines on the coasts of the Rebel-Occupied Anatolia if some ships manage to sneak in, there will be a submarine always ready for retaliation there too.

"Roger, confirm: civil war is active. Hungadadian citizens are in danger. The Embassy is in danger. Recommended advice: evacuate, and notify Crete. Operation Purple Lion is now active."

The Emperor was just finishing up reading his evening intelligence briefing report for the day. There was a knock at the door. A familiar face came in. "Aaron?" asked the Emperor. Sir Aaron Bach, Director of the DSDH nodded, clearly not in the mood for questions. "So strange that we meet yet again, so soon after Sweden." the Emperor continued. "Your Majesty, good evening. I am here to inform you of an unfolding situation in the Ottoman Empire. HIS has confirmed that a civil war has broken out, between the Monarchy Government and Democratic separatists. Both HIS and the CTA have confirmed that the 5,000 or so Hungadadian civilians in the Empire are in catastrophic danger, as is the Embassy. The CTA is recommending an evacuation, and to notify the Med Force in Crete for security. We await your orders, sir". The Emperor nodded. 

23 minutes later, Empire Situation Room...

"Good evening all. There is an unfolding crisis in the Ottoman Empire. We find ourselves, once again, in a situation that is war. Based on the information I have received, I am ordering an immediate and unconditional evacuation of all Hungadadian civilians. We will also help to evacuate any remaining civilians of foreign countries. I also the immediate evacuation of the Embassy there, with diplomatic services currently unavailable from within the country. Aircraft will travel from Crete to aid in the evacuation. The Med Force will now be placed on alert, and I would appreciate continuous updates on the situations. I want to wait before I decide anything regarding the state of our armed forces. Go!" The Emperor took a sip of water. He knew that many key players upon Orbis would make it their business to become involved in this civil war. Military involvement in second war in a short timeframe was not the way to go. 

Today, Empire Situation Room....

"Alright everyone. Based on the new information I've received overnight, and of course, based on the information from our ground teams, I have decided it is in the best interest of this country and of our country on Orbis to reject any and all military involvement. Our role in the Ottoman Empire will be purely humanitarian. Hospitals in Crete have been placed on flood protocols, and I am deploying the army medics from Crete, as well as from Hungadada to the Ottoman Empire to help evacuate civilians and to provide emergency medical care to those who have been wounded. It would be best to also send specialist teams, as well as more medical supplies over to Crete so that they can be flown over to the Ottoman Empire. Thank you."

PRESS STATEMENT

The Hungadadian Government has been reviewing and implementing all strategies to better understand the situation in the Ottoman Empire. As such, the Emperor has decided, after consultation of his advisers, against military involvement in the growing conflict in the Ottoman Empire. Hungadada will focus its resources on a purely humanitarian mission. This will involve the continued evacuation of civilians from war zones, as well as the deployment of medics and medical resources to prevent casualties from growing unchecked. Hospitals in Crete have been placed on flood protocols, and resources are being made available for increased usage among the medical teams being deployed. The medical force being deployed will provide medical care to all those who are injured, regardless of status, creed, political belief, or the side that this individual is fighting for. Hungadada strongly supports a more diplomatic approach than war.

REGARDING THE SITUATION IN THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE 

TRAVEL WARNING 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to inform all Hungadadian citizens of the developing situation in the Ottoman Empire. A civil war has broken out in the country. Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly advises all Hungadadian citizens to avoid any and all travel to the country. Hungadadian Diplomatic Services are not available any longer in the Ottoman Empire, and the conflict between both the Monarchist and Democratic forces grows ever fiercer. The HAA has banned all Hungadadian aircraft from flying within the airspace of the Ottoman Empire, while almost all foreign civilian airlines no longer operate from any airports in the country. The situation grows more and more serious. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly advises against any travel to the Ottoman Empire.

5,500 medics are being deployed to the war zone in the Ottoman Empire to provide humanitarian aid. Almost 6,000 reserve medics have been called up for duty, and are waiting, hoping that the situation is resolved quickly, so as to prevent casualties.

Rekish and Democratic forces in Cyprus have been successful in pushing back the Monarchist army in northern Cyprus, however when Rekish and Democratic forces marched into cities in Northern Cyprus, they found all cities and towns had been destroyed. General Ekejen Ang, leader of the invasion of Cyprus, has personally condemned the Monarchists for forcing thousands of civilians into becoming refugees. Rekish forces were swarmed with pleading civilians, homeless due to the policies of the SOE. Several Rekish commercial ships have volunteered to take the refugees back to Rekishtein. Seeing as Hungadada has declared neutrality, and that their main mission is humanitarian, we invite them to help take refugees as well so long as they will be accepted.

FA Update on the Civil War

While usually the UK would stay out of affairs like this, Parliament passed an act to intervene in the war, when the King disagreed, well let's say the King is currently under imprisonment withouy much of the populations knowledge. The Prime Minister acting under his authority with the King's "disappearance" ordered the invasion of the SOE. While other plans are being drawn up for more invasions that are currently classified. Half of The Royal Forces have been deployed to the SOE, 250,000 troops are underway for the Invasion. While another 250,000 are preparing for an assault on (classified). We aren't sure at the moment when they will arrive but it is expected to be within the month. Assuming the war hasnt been concluded at that time. The American provinces of the UK have also started to threaten to break away from the Union. Mainly due to the unrest in the streets.

The Rekish forces on Cyprus are attempting to help out the refugees left on the island, however about 13,000 troops (Rekish and Rebels) are marching southward in order to liberate the southern part of the island. Rekish forces saw it as pointless to build more fortifications on the beaches of the newly captured territory, believing that the Monarchists will not attempt to retake the island. Nonetheless, troops have still been stationed around the newly captured territory in case of an attack.

Air forces in Cyprus are now using air force bases near Akrotiri as a base for air strikes. 12 bombers and 31 fighter jets have been sent to bomb the city of Adana continuously for two days in order to destroy fortifications.

Of the ships that brought Rekish forces to Cyprus, one aircraft carrier, 4 corvettes, 3 cruisers, 5 frigates, a battleship, and two submarines have begun to return to Rekishtein. The rest of the ships remain either docked at or patrolling near Cyprus.

  Pilots, your targets are on the briefings. The situation is dire. Ottoman troops were defeated on Cyprus, what remains of their army is now retreating or trapped on the island. Ottoman Command has asked us to take out their fuel and ammunition depots on the island. Your targets are in non-civilian areas so no need to worry about collateral damage. Nightwing and Bushmaker, you are leading on this operation. Striker and Tactician, you will be running air-air protection while 3 of our Hornets from the Air Base in Crete will provide air-sea protection. 

 

The Planes take off from Incirlik, as they pass North Cyprus they notice troops burning the city.

The Planes broke apart, firing flares the ECR's began their approach. Firing their radar lock-on missiles, they destroyed the enemy AA. This is Tactician, enemy AA Down. Proceed with bombings. The Fighters launched their ordinance at the Ottoman Depots, destroying all the fuel, weapon, and ammunition storages across the region. They flew back to Incirlik they watched as the city continued to burn.

During our flight, we flew over Cyprus to cut distance to target and avoid enemy ships and planes. When we flew over, we saw the city in flames and soldiers pillaging it. Did the city already fall that quickly?

Lieutenant, those were Ottomans. They have a different thinking style...Unfortunately it is not as lovely as we hope, but in this type of region. A strongman is needed to ensure stability. I know you and your boys fought over in Sweden, but out here...In these parts of the world. We learn that our conscience is the first to die.

We have confirmed rebels attack Britannian forces on the border. While the death rate is still unconfirmed, we are looking at a potential 10 deaths and more injured due to the explosion. Despite missing maximum effect due to rebel attempt to destroy the FLEJIA the weapon went off decimating forces in Cyprus. Both civilians and militants alike were killed within moments of the explosion, infrastructure destroyed, and now Britannia poises more destruction and stronger weapons to be deployed if attacks against them are carried out. Regardless, the aftermath of using a WMD on Cyprus will soon reveal itself.

I mean even if you guys left Cyprus we can still boast that we took northern Cyprus with no casualties. Because technically it was true.
