There's no way you and I read the same thread. What I saw was a lot of people giving good advice, actually being nice (which doesn't happen often on these boards), and getting told by a new nation, basically, that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. And now he's getting a ton of criticism for basically being too stubborn to understand that his idea was bad, and either being an experienced player who has zero command of FA, or a new player who has impostor syndrome. Erm mate, did you read the first pages? everyone was as nice as they could, because we all remember our first time or what not. Up untill that even though he has a 12 days old nation and 10 comments on the forum in total, he insited that he was an oldtimer, and demanded we treat him accordingly.
