I am trying to be fair to the average members of Nova Riata who very likely did benefit from this exploit but did so unknowingly. As I stated above, I do believe pooball and The North 14 were most intimately involved, but I still do not feel comfortable punishing them without further evidence they were intentionally abusing the bug for their own benefit.
Some of their Gov members were buying multiple cities each month and, in some instances, multiple in a day. At the very least, they should lose at least a few cities from these ill gotten gains.

Buying 3 cities in 26 hours is totally normal by Nova Riata standards. I'm more concerned how he had to go a whole 2 weeks in between buying cities. Poor guy.

How do you not know where it was coming for if you're the leader? Do you just not pay attention to bank transactions that happen in your own god damn alliance? And also we know that Nova hasn't had 200 billion all at once, that money was spent on cities for you and your Gov.

If people were able to do this for weeks, if not months, and be caught primarily because of their stupidity and arrogance, not their failure as "hackers" (for lack of a better word), do you really think deleting or zeroing out their nations will matter to them? If the perpetrators are able to do this again, even on a smaller scale, they can replace any losses from moderation with further gains from cheating.
Alex and the mod team better come up with a solution and a fix fast. The more information I learn about this, the lower my trust and competence in them drops. If this was heavily abused by Nova Riata for months before we finally had enough proof to bring it to Alex's attention, even though he has access to all the resource numbers, just imagine how many other nations or alliances are abusing this on a smaller scale.

Goes from city 15 to city 27 in like three months? Including spiking three cities on two occasions in the span of a couple days.
This pattern is also visible on other Nova gov members.
Instead of rolling back or banning them, Alex should just make it so they can't buy, sell, or trade in game and remove their alliance bank altogether. That way we still get to roll them and watch their pixels burn.

All we know is the government were aware of what was going on so they are banned-no questions asked on that one and we can all agree to that.
But spawning 206B using 12 people in 55 days? That is 300M per person per day.
If my understanding of the exploit is correct, there needs to be a lot of people involved for this to work.
We can't tell anything for certain except the government, offshore and maybe direct allies were involved in this scheme. We cannot let the members who we cannot catch go away with this. Banning them all is only thing that will give Orbis justice.
This little exploit has already caused the market to crash like crazy. It has given Nova access to unlimited amounts of cash and rss which isnt fair.

Sounds to me like every alliance now has a valid CB against Nova if @Alex doesn't do anything about it

@Emperor Jonas is right. We should remove wars from the game. But while we're at it, we can get rid of all the other cluster related to wars.
For instance, we can get rid of all the military units since they'll essentially be useless and just cost us more in resources to keep. But why stop there? Since the military units are gone, we can also get rid of all the military improvements since they wont be able to make anything.
Then we move onto the projects we can remove. V.D.S., Missile Launch Pad, Propaganda Bureau, Nuclear Research Facility, Iron Dome, Intelligence Agency, and Munitions Stockpile are all now useless without any wars. And speaking of Munitions Stockpile, we can just get rid of munitions all together.
So now you might be thinking "what else is there to remove?" Well now that wars aren't around anymore, we dont really need alliances either so we can just remove all the alliances and all the treaties they've had.
But now that we've gotten rid of all the politics and war in the game, that means the name doesn't make any sense. So what we do now is rename it after what little we have left in the game.

Now that Pooball and a bunch of Nova's gov has been banned for their actions, I think it's fair to say that at this point, any more attacks on Nova would be complete overkill. The reason why everyone was hitting them last night was because of how upset we were since Alex hadn't banned anyone. Justice has been served and Nova is now a shell of what they were.
