  1. Isn't that sweet? Too bad Alex doesn't care enough to actually do this or even read this forum.
  2. Poor thing. He's like an old dude that constantly repeats the same story but it gets even more unbelievable every time he tells it.
  3. Why not make the war expire if the defending nation does not use MAPS in 24 turns?
  4. You need to figure out why your game attracts so many racists and neo Nazis. https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=231349
  5. You still can't get out of permablockade with these changes. You could shorten the time a war expires to three days instead of five just to make sure the nation gets SOME time to build up unhindered. And what was the reason of not exiting beige early. I mean the deal was if you declare on someone you agree to forfeit beige time. Is there something wrong with that mechanic???
  6. Incorrect. Taxes are calculated into your revenue. Happiness is not calculated at all.
  7. @Alex Military resets not happening.
  8. People obviously spend more time on YouTube then Instagram and Facebook. And since you didn't say anything about paying YouTube influencers to promote your game then the "suggestion" I made was maybe that will get more results.
  9. People that are in a position to advertise a game should advertise it.
  10. I mean it just needs to be said. I think this graph is unacceptable. There was something going on when the video of this game was posted by a YouTube guru. The benefits of a player base double what we have now clearly benefits everyone. I'm very upset about the slightly annoyed attitude some of the admin team had about the influx of new players. The servers didn't crash, the game did not go dark, NPO stayed gone, I just want game advertisement to be at that outstanding level again.
  11. @Prefontaine Why did you lock those threads?
  12. It's the constant disappearing Alex does after he does changes, that kind of defeats the purpose of reasonable discussion. I do comend Pre for taking the role but he isn't the only person that plays the game. Other voices have similar or sometimes better ideas and they get ignored for a plethora of reasons. I won't list them here though because it'll take all day.
  13. I think wars should not have time limits any more. If "military reserve" is implemented there is no reason to have a expiration date for a war. Wars should last several days (Maybe even weeks.) Until that player gets reserve units back and attempts to break those blockades. If the attempts fail they have to try again the next day until they run out of resources and cash. Then maybe bring in that other suggestion about spies smuggling in resources. But it can only be $1,000,000 with no resources because nations can produce those already.
  14. I made a meme about this same thing. Hardly anyone said it wasn't fair or defended Grumpy which I found ironic given this almost identical situation. It almost seems like a popularity contest between who gets punished and who doesn't. "Better not punish TCW cuz everyone likes them, but Grumpy, eh let them die. "
  15. You're not making sense. Why in the world would Alex hurt his wallet by deleting a game he created? Nobody says, "I'm just going to delete the whole corporation and leave with $0 because I'm mad".
  16. Funniest thing I ever read. Good luck getting them to agree, to anything. You'll have better luck nailing jello to a tree. This is a lie. A real economy supported by war is continuous raiding and investing in better tech. The previous changes were made in response to the majority wanting to farm and to max out military without being in range of higher city count nations, which is a net negative in my opinion. It also was because alliance minimum military requirements intentionally inflated the scores of new players(max planes, ships and soldiers) and when they lost wars to, say 20 city people, alliance leadership became upset. And so they mitigated the consequences of their decisions by redirecting their members to complain endlessly about downdeclares. This max mil practice and score inflation was tied into the global with NPO/ Old Col B using the mechanic to their advantage, up until they started losing, cheating to save face. THAT caused the score changes.
  17. Isn't that the point? You can't abuse a game mechanic then when it goes away complain about wanting it back. If people can't just leave stuff that benefits everyone alone we wouldn't have this problem. And there is no reason to fake outrage when hardly anyone wanted to be fair and use things nicely beforehand. Pixel hugging and farming seems to be the only strategy people are comfortable with. Being mundane and following maybe one to three peoples orders is what's allowed(maybe this simulation really has no hope). PS There was outrage about being pinned forever but it was brushed off as people "complaining too much".
  18. There are several "sympathizers" that are still here,( I'm not going to name drop). And have that same salt the Earth mentality as OD when it comes to anything they refuse to accept.
  19. The difference is they want to be in control of who gets "rewarded" with beige and who doesn't. It's more at "let's abuse the game mechanics to punish people that think differently". Personally, I like seeing them have cows over this too.
  20. You obviously aren't the only one. There are people that think this same thing.
  21. I know but they haven't gotten very far on the forums without either getting freezed out or roasted into eternity by said members of large alliances. Just because you choose to join the first alliance you see doesn't mean that's end all. All during the global the old Col B kept pushing the remove beige narrative to eternally spook away the opposition. Now it's removed...
  22. You know it's the power hungry giant alliances complaining all day and night about not being able to permanently snuff out even the slightest opposition. Then once Alex opens the gate, they turn around and complain its too much and they want to quit now. It's all about not being in total control and trying to bend the moderation around each and every wish. Not so much as giving people a good time and being fun.
  23. As, war mechanics have now been changed to everyones approval and only my and a small minority (micros and pirates) disappointment, I would like to send these: Sincerely Deulos
