  3. You’ll get full benefits if you merge with us
  4. What will gas stations do to cities other than consume gasoline? You need to have a reason for people to buy them
  5. Are you a pirate alliance?
  6. I definitely have not been using ChatGPT for my bulletin posts. Absolutely not. Nooo way.
  7. You made a post called human rights, I'm automatically downvoting
  8. I'm not sure if stopping alliance-to-alliance transfers would change much. People will adapt fairly quickly and starting transferring from one econ head's nation to another econ head's nation instead
  9. Not only have we decided to revive a post from two years ago, we've yet to add any insightful additions to the topic. Sums up the forums quite well
  10. I'm pretty sure this practice was banned because it would allow some users to buy up large quantities of resources for cheap at the expense of others
  11. Some friendly suggestions: It's a global war. It happens periodically. Just enjoy it Join an alliance that not only claims to, but actually can, defend you. Equally important, join an alliance that will but also is able to fund your rebuilding process Buy the Vital Defense System (or get your alliance to buy it for you). It's only a 20% chance of thwarting nukes but that's 20% more than your current chances Also buy the Nuclear Research Facility and get your own nuclear arsenal. May not be a deterrent but at least you'll be able to have your own fun Do not produce food at all, produce something profitable like steel instead. Buy your food on the market I'm not trying to tell you how to play the game, but this is what most of us do and this way you'll find the game much more enjoyable. If you have any questions feel free to drop a line. Hope this helps
  12. We don't usually post about the test server here because everything that happens there is temporary and not "canonical" to regular Orbis developments
  13. Is this a plot to get someone to make you a flag for free?
  14. Don't worry, we won't run out of food completely. We've had our fair share of wars. The question is why are you still attempting to produce food when it's not profitable at 9 cities?
  15. Since you have 9 cities, I do not recommend you produce food. I would instead consolidate all those spots to producing something more profitable like bauxite or aluminum. This will probably help you especially in wartime since everyone needs aluminum in war. You'll be able to use this money to buy yourself food on the market. I also recommend once we have peace, you store up food for situations like these. Alternatively, larger alliances have large supplies for their members so I highly recommending an alliance that has a better idea of how the game works and can help you in times of need.

    Help.

You are consuming more oil than you produce. Your power plants collectively use 8.4 tons of oil a day while you're only making 0.5 tons. You need to build more oil wells, buy oil on the market, or switch to a different power plant.
  17. The world bulletin is, to say the least, primitive. It handles the basics very well—you can post text and images on behalf of your nation or alliance, and others can comment on these posts—but if we want more of the playerbase to use this feature and accept it as part of the game, here are some improvements that could make it more usable: Following bulletins — Currently, only the original nation that posted the bulletin receives notifications for new activity. But no doubt there are others who are invested in certain bulletins and want a way to stay up to date. There should be an option to follow bulletins of your choice and receive notifications. Following users — Expanding on this earlier point, maybe certain nations make compelling bulletins are their latest updated are vital. Maybe by default, nations should follow posts by their alliances so it's easier for them to be in the loop. Replying to comments — Also expanding on this first point, I've noticed when players currently want to address certain comments, they make their own separate comment (usually beginning with @[leader name]) and hope the message is received. Allowing a layer of replies allows players to directly address comments and keep active conversation going. More reactions — You can currently only "like" bulletins and comments. That's great, but adding more reactions would make things more vibrant. Maybe a "dislike" that counters it so you get a better sense of public perception, for example. As I write this I realize that a lot of these features are already available on our dear forums, but that's not the point. When I browse the bulletins I realize there's an entirely separate ecosystem in the game, frequented by smaller players who often have no clue how the game works but are enjoying it nonetheless. By enhancing the bulletins feature I'm hoping it will make the game more enjoyable for these folks, but also be a way for us larger folk to try out the feature and bridge this communication gap.
  18. Been wondering this as well. Clearly they hate all horrid things. Or maybe he meant horde? One of life's great mysteries.
  19. These bot spams are getting pretty ridiculous

Amen. I wish they would find a way to counter it. People with invalid nations and whatnot shouldn't be allowed on the Forums to begin with, so that would be a good start.

Maybe new accounts shouldn't be able to post on the forums until they verify their nation link, such as through sending a message to your in-game account.

  20. Maybe just have the project, call it National University or something similar, that makes certain improvements like hospitals more effective? Could go a different direction with this and have a War College project that, for example, increases the maximum number of units in a mil improvement. My reasoning is these additions will be easier to implement if they affect pre-existing variables rather than introducing a completely new metric.
  21. I think there's just too much color, especially the two shades of yellow.
