  1. In my opinion no. The reasoning is that there is no logical reason to want to kill yourself if you are a perfectly healthy adult. There are medical programs to contain things like depression. You'd be surprised how common suicidal passing thoughts come across peoples minds out of angst and unfortunate circumstances. If everyone took the easy way out there wouldn't be any reason for people to overcome obstacles in life. It creates more problems than it would logically solve. Exceptions: If you are irreparably crippled (Like Steven Hawking shit, not just leg movement) Or if a family member is turned into a mental vegetable due to an accident or medical condition, Or if you have an untreatable illness that will cause you to break down painfully until you die such as cancers and parkinsons, I believe it should be legal to allow euthanization in that area. (But I stress that the situation would have to be urgent. much of Cancer is very treatable, as are other illnesses. I mean when it gets near the late stages.)
  2. Is this kind of like when millions of people said they were going to move to canada if Obama got reelected and
  3. Only being able to narry another muslim isn't racist? Punishment of death for Apostasy isn't unwarranted aggression? Hoe about women who fornicate outside of marriage getting 100 lashes? Does that sound like a good time?
  4. You mean like Sharia law, which a large percentage of muslims want to live under?
  5. Thats what people dont get. It works both ways. If generalizations arent allowed to be made against one group then the same rules should apply to every group without restriction. Instead there is some kind of double standard being pushed such as rediculous things like "christians hate gays so christianity is stupid" or "since over a century ago when slaves were a thing, america still needs to appologize and bend over backwards for slavery" Maybe these are not the views of people arguing in this thread, although these are key viewpoints in the typical modern liberal idealogy. You can not have a rational debate with people who do not think rationally. They are so focused on taking the moral highroad that they don't realize that the base of their entire argument could be a double standard. Im not one to go "yay nazis", but im willing to bet there were more germans pledging allegiance to hitler out of fear for their families and lives than there were that actually believed in his agenda. The nazi police force was actually quite small in comparison to the size of their army, many of them were forced into service. Whether you can say "they still shouldnt have done it!" Or not is irrelevant unless you have been in that situation.
  6. Babies are human, and have the potential to become a person who contributes to society. While animals are animals and have the potential to eat, poop, and make more animals We also don't eat babies..
  7. I believe there should be ethical living and killing conditions for an animal based on health and unnecessary cruelty reasons, but given rights is kind of a silly and slippery slope.
  8. So if somebody is factually wrong about something, you are okay letting that person keep thinking that way in a debate setting without taking the small amount of time to state which parts of an argument are incorrect? That's worse than ignorance, it's complacency. You are essentially the problem with this world. You are afraid to get into a debate with people because they may not agree with what you have to say. It's so basic that if everyone took this stance there would be no hope for humanity and nobody would get anything done on a political scale. I have never stated what my problems are with Islam, so for you to make a statement based on air to vilify me as some kind of idiot who thinks all Muslims are terrorists (The actions of a few jab) is really quite irrelevant and My stance is that islamic communities do not work in a developed country besides their own. I am a Conservative Nationalist that strongly opposes mass immigration and multiculturalism. I believe that we have enough problems in every country from the USA to definitely Europe without taking on more people that will take decades to integrate into our developed society. I believe our geographical cultures, history, and way of life should be protected. Also that other countries should be brought into the developed world, rather than our country being brought to their world. To some it all up: "We're full, but our resources aren't. If you cooperate with us we may share our resources and establish mutually beneficial programs to help your people in your own country."
  9. This would be awesome. The amount of times I've been deep in trade settings and then get thrown out and having to enter it all again makes me want to scream sometimes.
  10. How does that fix anything? Surely if people feel strongly enough to comment that we are ignorant, they can take the extra 60 seconds to tell us why. Maybe I don't see the merit in allowing people to say factually wrong things because its not our job to inform them where their error is. Who's job is it? It should be somebodys. Ignoring ignorance is pretty ignorant. Its actually like double ignorance.
  11. You said he is either trolling, or deranged. As for the decent question, people have been calling islam the religion of peace for a while now. Is asking where the phrase originated suddenly indecent? Surely if the phrase is to be seen as correct that it must have come from somewhere and have a reason to exist. He could have googled it, sure. But some students want to read a textbook and some want to ask the teacher. We have a handful of self proclaimed followers of islam on these boards, should we not count on what they have to say about their own belief system because the internet exists? The internet has become a social tool for discussion. It's one of its best qualities. As for the millenial comment, I appologize for the assumption. That is just something I see a lot of in America. As for the comment that I liked, I agreed with it. I dont think islam has a place in modern society and was hoping to be proved wrong. The only thing I have seen here besides some initial conversation is people attacking the guy creating a dialogue about the beliefs of islamists.
  12. Is this how millenials debate now? If we dont agree with somebody you call them deranged without stating which part? If he is wrong about something, (Factually wrong, not just based on your opinion on islam.) Then call him out. He made a perfectly decent question on the OP without resorting to hostility. Are we not even allowed to question islam or its followers anymore without being declared a racist? If somebody is just mindlessly name calling and being a douchebag without addressing any points I would feel differently, but discrediting a person in a debate and trying to get threads deleted because you dont agree with what they have to say is just small.
  13. My stance is that all alliances could benefit from making sure their members have an acceptable military standard. As stated earlier in the thread somewhere, We as a neutral alliance do not have the benefit of Allied alliances, And if we were assaulted, we would need to cough up our own defense. This means it is important that our members have adequate forces to defend themselves or help other members if need be. Occasionally it becomes relevant to remind members to keep an eye on their troop count due to any current events in the Orbis world. As you mentioned, The St. Patricks Massacre was a very important moment in alliance history due to the rolling we sustained last year. We wanted to prevent a possible rolling situation from happening as easily again, And in turn members were told to bolster their defenses. This includes the many members we continue to recruit and help learn the game. These things happen depending on important dates, impending perceived threats, and just regular readiness checks. It's hardly out of the ordinary that an alliance should keep their members as safe and as informed as possible. Even as a neutral alliance we won't roll over and let our members get swallowed up without repercussions to the attacking groups. We hope it will never come to that, and certainly don't plan for any hostilities besides the occasional defensive upgrading. We want to grow, teach, learn, have a good time, and protect our own. Nothing more. Threatening to attack somebody prematurely on a hunch is just nonsensical. We hope this kind of thing can be avoided at all costs. Any questions or problems can be sent to our officers. Their mailboxes are always open.
  14. Self interested parties squeezing Germany dry after WW1 caused WW2. I can't really determine whether the Jews had a big part to play in that, but I've heard some interesting theories. Either way, the mass killings of people based on race was a retarded way to go about it, and Hitler needed to be put down.
  15. When you use your card you are using paypals services whether you intend to or not, or have an account or not. You will have to contact paypal to see if they can fix the issue on their end. I'm telling you I had this same issue and logging into my old paypal account fixed it. You dont even need to store your money in the paypal account if you don't want to. I don't.
  16. Yeah. They needed to add a phasing function. Halo has had it for like 10 years.
  17. Sounds like somebody forgot to grease their lips for quantam computer.
  18. I was super hyped dor the division when I saw the first trailer for it at e3 last year.looked like a great survival/post apocalypse game. When I saw the gameplay for it my heart sank. Looks like a literal copy of Watchdogs. Why they added hightech gadgetry is beyond me. Took me immediately out of immersion. And sont even get me started on the "BB Gun Effect" where you have to shoot somebody with literallt like 200 bullets to take them down. 3/10, might play if I find it in a bargain box. Totally not what I was expecting.
  19. If you are paying with a card through paypal, without using an account with the company, I've heard that you could have a conflict with the card and they won't let you ise it through them. You may need to contact them anyways to see. If you aren't even paying with a card as a guest through them, then I apologize for being redundant and hope you find info soon. I just responded because I had frustration with that message with two different game sites when i paid as a guest with my card. Sounded related.
  20. I had this same issue. I just started a paypal and linked my card to that account, and then paid with PayPal. It's a pain, but my card does this on quite a few sites now if im not logged in to paypal.
  21. (I'll be mentioning Trump. ..a few times throughout this post due to him being one of the main people voicing the need for a wall.) Logic would say that we need better security on our border. It's completely rediculous that anybody can just waltz on through without screening. Whether the wall is feasible or not is the main issue. How much will it cost, and how large does it have to be to remain effective? I would assume it would need to be quite tall, and deep as well to prevent climbing over or digging under. It would also need to be pretty thick to help prevent against damage. Assuming its made out of steel reinforced concrete that would get expensive fast. I don't think it's out of the question to get mexico to pay for the wall. Trump is a businessman, he isn't going to say "hey dude pay for the wall lmao" he would give them an offer that would be very lucrative to everyone involved. One problem mexico has its infrastructure, I'm sure there is a very good deal being worked on in Trumps staff (should he get elected) I think Morality is irrelevant in the case of a wall. People are not supposed to be entering the country through unregulated border in the first place, so the wall wouldn't be morally different from what we have in place right now. Instead of a busted fence we would have a wall that would actually work. As far as I know Trump has not expressed the the will to close all immigration. Checkpoints would remain open to allow people of all color to enter and exit legally like many do today. Right now many people come over the border and we can not filter through them to see if they are a threat or not. Most are probably good people with families, but there are also probably many people who are potentially dangerous that make homes in our communities such as criminals, cartel members, or even terrorist extremists. These are not people we can just allow to slip in because we are afraid to offend somebody who doesn't know the situation. I currently live in Arizona near Phoenix and I have seen first hand the lack of respect these people have for this country. There are entire blocks and blocks of phoenix that are almost indistinguishable from mexico, and they are very unpleasant places to be. I can see the effects of our open border policy rippling accross the state like a plague and its only getting worse. Something needs to be done, and as far as I can tell, a wall and vigilant deportations would be a great start.
  22. I dont think prostitution is a very glamorous thing to promote in a country, but I also find it completely silly that two consenting adults can have sex and be fine, but as soon as money is involved you are now a sex offender and need to be thrown in jail and branded for years. I think decriminalization with some very heavy restrictions would be best for the safety and health of the girls. I think it should also be left up to individual states to decide if they want it in their state or not.
