  1. Official Statement from the Department of Health Akaatan Orbis III We would like to update the current areas where the virus has been reported. So far the virus has been reported in the following regions: Most of North America save for major Akaatan City Centers, Caribbean Islands, Central America, and South America. There are also several unconfirmed reports of the undead in the following regions: Japan, Kuril Islands, Canary Islands, the Azores, and Greenland. So far, the cure has progressed without any problems, however, until the cure is released, the best way to save yourself or anyone else is to amputate the infected limb.
  2. We are willing to accept any aid in this crisis. We would like to thank those who have offered help so far, as well as those who will.
  3. Official Statement from the Department of Health Akaatan Orbis III It has come to our attention that there are those who wonder how this disease can spread across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Let me explain how in a simple manner. The disease has several forms of travelling across the planet, as we have observed once in the past, back when we first found the disease. During our research on the virus, we have noted that it can survive in practically any environment, save for the void of space. However, as I have stated before, the disease is not fully understood at this point, other than it can travel across a planet within weeks, and if I might add, the last time we observed this, the planet had extremely similar conditions to that of Orbis III. Therefore, it is within reason that the disease will travel across the planet quickly. Now, onto the death toll. Unfortunately, the current death toll is believed to be somewhere in the millions, meaning that there are at least one million of these creatures wandering around the wilds of the Americas. Yes, that's right, it has nearly reached the strait of Magellan. Scientists studying the plague have noted that the undead seem to be under some form of hive mind. We have also received some unconfirmed reports that the disease has reached the island of Iceland, as well as several hundreds of reports of undead walking the streets of the Caribbean. Be wise. Be safe. Be aware.
  4. Emergency Statement from the Department of Health Akaatan Orbis III Emergency Level: Ge'tal There have been confirmed reports of reanimated dead, or "Zombies" as some of the natives are calling them as far south as the former region known as Ohio, now called Administrative District #5. At the same time, there have been several unconfirmed reports of the undead in Britannia's territory in New York. We request that all nations prepare for the Blackwing Plague to reach their nations in the coming weeks. Researchers are already starting a cure for the disease, but it could take at least ten weeks to create. Akaatan citizens are being evacuated towards major populated centers in the following districts: Administrative District #1, Administrative District #3, Administrative district #4, and Administrative district #19. Any surplus refugees are being will be transported to an orbital station within two days. We are willing to accept any refugees during this crisis. Thank you.
  5. Attention to all nations and peoples of Orbis III We have confirmed reports, I repeat, we have confirmed reports of a containment breach at Imperial Bioweapons Research Facility 163 in the region known commonly as Ottawa. This breach, which we believe was purely accidental, has caused a virus to be released into the immediate area. The virus, which has been designated as Bioweapons Project I17A, or the Blackwing Plague, is a highly infectious virus that can be transmitted via the following: Bite Wounds, Contact with bodily fluids of the infected, and most often, as an Airborne contagion. The virus is likely to spread across the western hemisphere in two days time, and will have reached the rest of the planet within a week. People infected with the Blackwing Plague can experience the following symptoms: Madness, loss of cognitive functions, coughing, mucus buildup, fever, hallucinations, gastrointestinal disturbances, profuse internal bleeding, cardiac arrest, seizure, coma, and eventually... death. There is, as of the moment, no known cure for the disease, so we would like to say this: We are sorry to the infected, but you are going to die from this disease. Wait, we have just received word that those killed by the virus are being reanimated by an unknown cause. We strongly suggest that you stay inside at all times while the military deals with the incident. More to come on this throughout the day. Be wise. Be safe. Be aware.

  7. Strange... I've heard some of these names before... -Grand Moff Vaiken
  8. Emperor's Sanctum, Kal'kad The room was silent, dark, so as to simulate the void of space, something that none would find comfort in... That is, of course, except for the Emperor. Slowly, he walked around the room, which was surprisingly ancient, having been around for three-thousand years. In the darkness, only the Emperor's eyes were visible, making it ever more unlikely for someone to visit. And yet, people would still come from time to time. This time, however, it was actually something important. Suddenly, a young man, aged somewhere around eighteen, ran into the room carrying a message. "My Lord, I have a message for you." the man yelled in the hopes that the Emperor would hear him. Slowly, the Emperor approached, his eyes glowing orange. "What is the message?" the Emperor asked, his voice lacking emotion. "Here it is, my Lord." the man said before placing a small device on the floor. Suddenly, a hologram of a man covered in a black cloak appeared before the two. "Greetings, my Lord..." the man in the hologram said. "I have done as you asked. The planet Korriban has been secured of any threats to your regime." he added. "That is all, sir." he finished before the hologram turned off. "I guess I am going to Korriban, so that I may learn from the old masters..." the Emperor said to himself. "That just leaves one loose end..." he said as he looked towards the man standing across from him. "Time to die..." he said as he lifted the man off of the ground before impaling him with his lightsaber. Upon doing this, he left the room for his shuttle. Landing Pad 37-A, Kal'kad Slowly, the Emperor walked down the corridor, which was lined with a white metal and had a golden finish. As he walked down the corridor to the landing pad, his son, who had recently changed his name, noticed him. "Good day, Father. I see you are leaving the planet." his son said. "Ah, hello Atin. Yes, I am leaving the planet. I do believe it is time for me to begin training you..." The Emperor said. "Of course, father." Atin said as they began to walk towards the shuttle. Upon boarding the ship, the door closed and boarded the Imperator, the Imperial Family's flagship. And so, the journey began. Korriban, Horuset System Quickly, the shuttle left the Imperator, which had entered orbit around Korriban, which had been abandoned for many years. However, even though it was abandoned, it was not silent. In the many tombs of the planet, the spirits of ancient Sith Lords stirred from their rest. Most of the tombs were several millennia old, with the oldest being at least 15'000 years old. Yet, even after so long, many of the tombs were perfectly preserved. Only one, however, was not ancient: The Tomb of Emperor Vitiate, the last of the Sith. In these tombs held the greatest secrets of the force, secrets that the Emperor had no time to research on his last visit. The first tomb that was to be visited was that of Marka Ragnos, the first true Dark Lord. Slowly, the Emperor and his son walked down the path to the tomb, which was lined with tombs of other sith. As they walked, Atin asked his father a question. "So, father, why are we here exactly?" Atin asked. "We are here to collect the knowledge of the ancients, whether it be holocrons or ancient texts." the Emperor said as they approached the tomb. "Be on your guard, these tombs hold many secrets... and many dangers." he added as they walked inside. Inside, the tomb was filled with the skeletons of previous adventurers who had sought to uncover the secrets of this dark lord. At the same time, it seemed as though many sections were beginning to collapse after millennia of stress upon the structure. As they walked in, a presence was felt, one which the Emperor hadn't felt for several years. However, it soon faded, and they continued towards the center of the structure. In the center of the structure lay the ancient dark lord, who, unlike many, died not of injuries, but of old age. However, even though his body was dead, his spirit lived on and inhabited the tomb. This spirit appeared before the two as they entered the room, which had slowly started to collapse. "So... The pretender returns..." the spirit said as it came close to the Emperor. "No... You are no pretender, are you..." it added. "What do you mean by calling me a pretender?" the Emperor replied. "You don't know the history of your nation... do you?" the spirit said as it looked towards Atin. "Of course I do, our history is intertwined with that of the Sith." Atin said. "Shame... I thought you knew your origins, but I guess you don't after all." the spirit replied. "Your ancestors were one of us. That is why you were taught that your history was simply parallel to ours. Your history... is our history." it added. "It... It can't be true! Father! Tell me it isn't so!" Atin said in shock. "I'm sorry, son. The spirit speaks the truth. I had hoped that this secret would be hidden from you forever, but alas, you have learned." The Emperor replied. "Our first emperor... was a Sith Lord." he added. "This is something you will have to come to terms with." he said before turning to the spirit. "I accept the legacy of my ancestors, those who studied the darkness, who accepted it." he said. "Then you are ready. Rise, Darth Saarai, heir to the legacy of the Sith and the true Sith'ari." the spirit said as a large storm brewed outside. As the storm ravaged the area, the tomb started to collapse, forcing the two to leave, however, not before grabbing a small holocron, one which held many secrets of the dark lord. Valley of the Dark Lords After the storm subsided, the presence felt by the Emperor and his son was felt once again, this time, stronger than ever. As they walked among the ruins, the presence manifested it's self. It was the presence of an entity that the Emperor had known for many years. "Vitiate... What a surprise to see you here..." the Emperor said, his voice lacking any emotion. "You thought you could get rid of me forever..." Vitiate said with a slight grin. "At the very least, you have accepted your true self... Darth Saarai..." he added. "And now... our plan is complete." he finished before vanishing. Afters several days of searching the tombs and collecting holocrons, the two left the planet and headed back to Kal'kad.
  9. Yes... look at me... the failure who rules a failed state with less than 1 million people after a year.
  10. Unfortunately, the Emperor might not be able to attend the entire event due to... well... his reasons are a mystery even to us... However, Grand Moff Vaiken will be able to attend in his stead. It is possible, however, that the Emperor will arrive at some point, so please keep an eye out for him. We can at the very least expect that he will arrive at some point on the first day.
  11. Well, time to test that theory then... lol Nope! Didn't work.
  12. Uhh? Snails maybe? (totally not using the list)
  13. Yep, time to begin sanctions (and maybe a blockade if it gets too out of hand)
  14. That, child, is where you are wrong. Our Empire is not called Chernigov, but the Akaatan Infinite Empire. This name... Chernigov... comes from the region we first colonized on Orbis many years ago. As for our actual name, it comes from that of our race, the Akaata. Most do not know where the name it's self came from, however, I can tell you. It came from the ancient name of our homeworld, Akaaniir, before we started referring to it as Kal'kad, whose name comes from the words "Kal" and "Kad", which gives it the rough translation of Sword's Blade.

  16. 1.What is your current Economic policy? That is entirely left up to each system's government, however, in general, most systems have a capitalist economy. -Prime Minister Fel 2. What is your opinion on Islamist Terrorist? We do not have to deal with this threat, unlike certain other ones. -Grand Moff Vaiken 3. What is the mean of Democracy for you? Personally, I see it as a good tool to give the civilian populace an illusion of choice, however, I must say, democracy is overrated. -The Emperor 4. How much wealthy do you have? And how did you get it? Wealth is a thing many see as necessary... I see it differently. I consider true wealth to be knowledge, in which case, I am very wealthy. This knowledge has come from months spent studying ancient texts and the holocrons of the old masters. However, I see you are talking about material wealth, so I would have to say that I am wealthy enough to purchase a star system and then some. I did not earn it, of course. It is part of my family's wealth which has been earned over nine millennia. -The Emperor 5. How to eradicate corruption in your country? The way we eradicate corruption is simple: We keep an agent watching our officials, and if they are found to be engaging in corruption, we... well... Silence them. -The Emperor 6. Do you have any secret bank accounts abroad? No, as doing so would cause inflation to rise in the nations exponentially. However, I do consider it from time to time. -The Emperor 7. Does your country recognized Civil Rights? What kind of rights that protected by the government? Yes, we do recognize Civil Rights. Rights that are protected are the right to bear arms, the right to a good life, etc etc...
  17. Our short-term goals currently are: 1.) Continue the colonization of Orbis 2.) Continue the buildup of the Imperial Armada 3.) Create several new Ecumenopolises, ring worlds, and "dyson spheres". Our long-term goals are: 1.) Prepare for the eminent war with our ancient enemy, the Aru'em. 2.) Continue the progress of technology in every field, whether it be military technology or new forms of travel throughout the multiverse. 3.) Preserve peace and order in the multiverse. My personal goals are: 1.) Learn and master every aspect of the force so that I may become powerful enough that those who may try to kill me or my people will never dare to fight me. 2.) Restore the Infinite Empire to it's golden era. 3.) Begin a new era of peace for the Multiverse.
  18. Attention, natives to Orbis III It has come to our attention that many of you do not know much of our nation, our culture, our people, or our leadership. As such, we are beginning a service where you will be permitted to ask questions about our nation, among other subjects, and we will answer it to the best of our ability. However, there are some things that will not be permitted as questions: Secret Projects or questions that make no sense (OOC questions). Thank you, and enjoy asking about our nation.
