Even funnier, USSR economy collapsed attempting to out-do us, which the actually did for a great period of time. Know why we created the M-16? Notice the AK, to this very day is the most recognized, familiar, and aquirable firearm on earth. Its also widely considered the most reliable assault rifle design ever made. Been around since 47 and still going strong. Also, the quality of.life in USSR was vastly higher than under Russias current failed capitalism. In fact, modern Russia completely lacks a middle class and is entirely run by the Mafia. Bit considering the Russia vs USSR debate is one Im extremely educated on and very familiar with, I totally encourage you to attempt an argument. Id be surprised to actually lose this one for a change. As for socialism vs capitalism, refer to previous comment and don't make stupid assumptions.

Let me explain this the way I just previously explained it to a friend:

Capitalism is a total !@#$ isn't it? Its now literally illegal (and effectively being enforced) to even allow your children to sell lemonade on the corner. You cannot sell, or even hand out food without a permit. This isn't a ridiculous government. This is a corrupt government bending to its breaking capitalist system. But capitalism can't fail, right? I mean, it soo purfekt. Forget the fact that economic.theorists completely disregard the human factor. That don't much matter.... Murica!!!! *Waves confederate flag* Am I doin it rite?

Of course it doesn't. 6 million Jews were killed just because some people got bored. Its funny you say that. Especially considering that NATO is quite literally, not only the ONLY actual military alliance in the world, but also contains 3 permanent members of the UNSC, as well as virtually every European nation of any significance (EU is NATO). NATO is literally the ONLY military force on the globe. In fact, the only reason Russia and China are attempting expansion at.this very point in time is certainly not coincidence. They know we can't afford any further mass military operations. But even being bankrupt, NATO still easily has far.more military influence than the rest of the planet combined. Best part is, NATO is literally an extension of US policy. Modern America is the modern Roman empire. People hate to accept that, bit its true. Just like how politicians can't seem to accept that all systems inevitably fail and no system is perfect, or right for everyone. The fact of politics is that everyone is actually wrong, regardless of how much evidence you may have to prove your argument. Societies and cultures evolve. So too must the system, or fail. I hate it when people like to ignorantly deny the blatantly obvious.

Not to mention the terminology is absolutely terrible. I also find this graph to be not only far more visually pleasing, but also far more accurate in terms of "ability to classify." I also use this same exact graph for examples in discussion because its very straight forward.

Oh, I've personally experienced worse. Ever heard of being kicked out of school for being bullied? Yeah, the news only covers what it feels like catching that particular day. People are pretty !@#$ed up and thus make the world a total hell hole for us people trying to live peacefully. (Of course, I did stab the kid with a pencil..... He rightfully earned it.) :/ Best part was.... I was literally never given a legal chance to defend myself, nor was I read my full rights, which explains why I was able to tell my probation officer to !@#$ herself after 3 days, never went back and was A-OK. Still to this day, that tiny experience still convinces me that our legal system is a !@#$ing "conspiracy to cage the poor." Or maybe I just absolutely despise police for good reason. FTP.

Winters are dryer and summers are longer. Animal die offs due to the climate also seem to more frequent in modern times. Unfortunately, its difficult to have hope in humanity when it comes to this issue. Because of the fact this process isnt instantly noticeable to most people, even those who accept it seem to have a hard time actually addressing it. I personally don't think a united world is possible in the foreseeable future. So its hard to speculate on which is best. But I voted for an economic union.

Well the reason I was banned is a lot more complicated than I imagine most people may think. (I've heard people try to tell me I was banned for various different reasons that aren't true.) Ill try to explain it in the least bias way. After I left the staff, there was already a lot of tension built up between Unkajo and I. I didn't approve of how he was attempting to handle a particular controversial issue I won't mention. Despite my attempts to "work together" to discuss a solution that everyone would be happy with, he ignored me and addressed it himself with no prior thought. Then the community started hacking at each other in disagreement. I got tired of it and left the staff. The situation degraded, people started getting banned. I was openly criticizing Unkajo, by this point Unkajo and I had no respect for eachother at all. I ended up making a debate post which violated the new rules. Initially, I didn't view the post as a rule violation (considering they were changed IDK how many times.) Shortly after making said post, I lost access to the forums and IRC. Confused, I assumed I was banned from the forums because Unkajo read something that pissed him off. So I made another forum account to post a ban appeal or at least figure out what the deal was. The account was banned, and It wouldn't be until after this was all over that I would be informed that I was never originally banned, rather my forum access was temporarily disabled. Our alliance was growing ever unfond of the game with all the drama and ban hammering. I gave up on the game. I have a friend in the same house who I introduced to these games a while back. Said friend played PN but was getting tired of it and wanted a game that wasn't broken. So I pretty much gave her my nation to check out the game itself. She liked it, so it was settled. She made a new nation and then tried deleting the nation to reroll and wasn't able to for a certain period. So while waiting, she made a forum account. I should have told her not to do that... So our network was perma-banned. I know its easy to accuse me of attempting to ban evade, and the best argument I can provide is "we actually are separate people." But in the end, neither of the latter two offenses would have ever happened at all had I been initially informed pf the original offense. And the last one wouldn't have happened if Unkajo would have given me an answer in the ban appeal, because then I would have been aware of the offense and kept playing, rather than assuming there was never a reason. So that is my defense. One day, I got curious to see how this game has turned out. I kept hearing "Its crap" and "Its better" from different people. Knowing I wouldn't have to deal with Unkajo, I hopped on IRC and explained my story to Sheepy. I apologized for my wrongs and the way I acted. We agreed on a fair deal and now here I am. All my posts are quality. And I still refer to myself as a Taoist, yes. But I've decided that if you want to be more specific, I believe in the School of Naturalists and take a great amount of inspiration from Lao Tzu. Call it what you want, we will likely disagree.

Im RWBY. Better known as Fox Fire in most other games. Some of you already know me. Others might not. In PaWs earlier days, I was a player here once, then a moderator, then a player again, then banned, and now Im a player again! I originally came here from many different games that I have played on and off since discovering NS in 06. As a player, I was a member of The Sith Empire. I invited the founders of TOO over here (Intending to recruit them) but they went and made TOO instead (Which is now apparently VOC). So, what's this stuff about dual alliances? Is there a point to this?
