i agree with darkblade, but our tax system is complicated and isn't perfect so my opinion probably isn't the most valid but tbh most of the gameplay i get is from saving up and using my own money and figuring out my own builds and which projects to get

YES, FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT also, with 100/100 taxes, players are less incentivized to either make a profitable build or to even keep up with the game if all they're doing is being tax farmed and if they're not that active or don't know how to ask for grants won't be able to grow at all or have their own capital to do with what they want it is my personal belief that it's a good idea to have low taxes and have the nations themselves be more responsible for their own growth (the taxes mostly being for war related reasons, you need funds to be able to effectively fight and then rebuild afterwards) and perhaps a way for players to safekeep to prevent the money from being raided away

Why not? Make a UP project for every 5 cities. Go big or go home, either get rid of UP and it's related projects or continue it indefinitely If you want to see If something is a good idea, take it to it's natural extreme, like having up 20.0 or something at c51
