The logs above don't seem to suggest TIE was started because of the merger, but that the "poaching" was related to it. When I'm talking about allowing members to leave, I'm not talking about MH_speedy. I'm talking about the so called poached who seemed like they were pursuing an alternate option. The logs your side posted even show speedy being hesitant for fear of a normal conversation seeming like poaching.
I mean no. Debate can be had if it was poaching, but TO considered it poaching, so they attacked the person responsible (Not the people who left) which is the norm for anyone getting caught poaching, you hit them once, and walk away with a notice not to do it again.

I've spoken to rienne, that's just ludicrous. E404 wasn't even close to being in the top 3 with the peoples vote, and they're suddenly 'winners'. I agree it shouldn't be strictly popular vote, but if you can take nearly last place and make them the winner, that system is more flawed than popular vote.

This gives someone the ability to report a player for OOC attacks. That's it. Please note the REPORT. Just as in other game moderation posts, such as multis, the accused has every right to, and should provide counter evidence. Maybe someone was trying to bait them into saying something. Maybe it's only 1 snippet of a larger picture. There has been (to my knowledge) no game report that simply went off a single sentence snippet that resulted in someone being banned.
One thing I can think of to close this is "If a player is found abusing this system (as can happen even in the Game Report section) he/she can receive nation strikes or bans." Now if you're found faking that Alex wanted to sell Rose's API key you can pick up some strikes.
I think the problem you're not understanding is that Discord has it's own trust and safety for these disputes, and while your request may mean well, Alex already has a history of not particularly using his existing moderation tools in good faith, I'm sure you can still even find an apology for incidents scattered throughout the forum if you look hard enough. So you're going to meet stiff resistance, especially from communities who already work alongside Alex anytime he asks questions about an incident in off-servers because it's just not the right way to go about it.
That said if issues are popping up, please do make support tickets in the main server and we would be happy to help direct you to Discord Trust and Safety. It's something the mods do frequently when our jurisdiction doesn't apply to an incident that the user believes needs punishment.

I frankly agree with a lot of what you're saying, but you lose me instantly at point 1 for two reasons.
1 Every community manages their members without interference from Alex, and in their servers, that is how it should be. Members are generally allowed to freely leave if they feel it's too toxic, and most leadership will proactively remove these people from their AAs.
2. The reason moderation doesn't currently extend to community servers is due to evidence and lack of definition. Most of the major communities are in more games than PnW, so it'd only apply to a few micros who just organize for fighting. Evidence can easily be forged in private discords, and I get to say this for once not meaning to be rude, Alex is not particularly discord savvy enough to know the difference.
The third proposal has my full support though, and should be enforced a lot harsher than the forum mods showed capable of the past few days.
That said, if people are going around impersonating Alex, you should report that to the discord staff as soon as it's known so our staff can make a notice and help players know how to identify the real Alex. Which for anyone who might be reading this and does not know, you should be able to click their name and it will look like this
The name, and number MUST MATCH (Alex_PW#4970) or it's someone impersonating Alex.
Edit with one additional note: OOC is Out of Character, not Out of Context, as in referring to the person behind the keyboard, not the character they play in the game.

Wingawoo is a friend of our community so we've been trying to figure out what's going on with her and make sure she's okay, but other then that Menny and I don't really give a damn about your drama with Changeup and whoever. We're just grumpy we had to pop in and respond to this crap.
