  1. You should at least reserve the top 8 or 10 alliance names. Just make it a ban to steal them. Any other name isn't as sweet when you've spent years working on that name.
  2. If someone takes an alliance name there's no way to take it back. You can't delete a nation, or push it off an alliance. I'm not sure I would suggest a mechanism to do that, but people worked too hard to lose their identities. I don't like the idea of rogue, asshats taking alliance names.
  3. True, but there's also been many high yield hydrogen bombs tested without causing nuclear winter. Bottom line - there shouldn't be any effect on regional food production, until nukes are flying like the apocalypse.
  4. You can buy military every 2 hours: 12, 2, 4, etc. Wars last 5 "days" or 10 of your Earth hours. You start with 6 maps and generate 1 every 10 minutes, so minimum time you can defeat someone would be 2 hours.
  5. I never heard of a nuclear winter in Asia following Hiroshima. I don't think one (airburst) nuke would/should affect a whole region much. I guess the GRL was a good solution after all. One or two nukes shouldn't have regional effects, but 1,000 nukes should carry some severe consequences.
  6. Progressivism 87.5 Socialism 81.25 Tenderness 37.5 Your test scores indicate that you are a tough-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are distrustful towards religion, and have an indifferent and uncompassionate attitude towards humanity in general. Your attitudes towards economics appear socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a humanist. To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate radical egalitarian with several strong convictions. This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.
  7. Then there would be too much demand for iron and coal. Too many nations would populate iron and coal continents after reset. Nations that don't produce iron and coal would fall behind those that do. To make it fair, improvements should require iron, coal, lead, bauxite, and oil. Only a small quantity of each, though.
  8. I hope this is still in development. It seems like this will only actively involve the top 10, but it will impact everyone. IMO, This will decrease the number of unviable alliances and increase the membership of the top 10 alliances. It's a compelling motivation for active political and military maneuver. I like that it makes the map much more significant.
  9. Depends on your definition of illuminati. If what you call the illuminati is only satanists, free masons - then probably not. If you mean an organized conglomerate of wealth and power with a secret agenda - then there absolutely is proof. There are countless organization that are publicly known, but have secret agendas. They have done a number of actions (as elected officials of their nations) which are not in the interest of their nation, rather they act in the interest of the "NWO". The trilateral commission is the most prominent. They own the white house and the one president in recent history that wasn't a member took a bullet to the head.
  10. Jesus said, "love one another even as I have loved you". That's very different from "...as you love yourself" Jesus didn't overthrow the Mosaic law, but he gave a "higher" commandment. Meaning if you follow his one simple commandment, you don't need to bother learning the 3000 rules in the Talmud. Jesus was kind to a whore and defended an adulterer. How do you think he would treat a homosexual? On the other hand, he whipped the defilers of the temple. How do you think he would treat preachers that defile his words?
  11. Draw-strings...duh. They're not just on sweats anymore. They're also on track pants and shorts. Sometimes the knot gets stuck and I pee on myself trying to untie it.
  12. That's kinda the same as a religion that tells a hetro he should have sex with men, not women - regardless of his inclinations and lack of attraction to other men.
  13. Usually, heteros choose to have sex with whom they're attracted to. Homos are supposed to not have sex with whom theyre attracted to? They should burden a woman with a passionless marriage to satisfy an old book? They should miss out on one of life's most rewarding experiences by being celibate? No, everyone should know and accept themselves.
  14. God made some people gay, then wrote a book criticizing them? That is too inconsistent for me. One of those statements must be false to fit some specific worldview. The false statement must be the one that has a great deal of scientific research suggesting it's true.
  15. Eventually, there will be one homogenous human race and one universal (lack of) religion(except for a few fanatics). Nationalism will probably be gone long before then.
  16. Wealthy eliteists, who rule the world, get together in councils where they discuss the way they want to make the world. Many of the things they want to do would not be well received by the working class, middle class, etc. Therefore they do have council meeting which are shodowy. Is this the illuminati or the NWO? It might as well be because they work together with no regard to national interests. They hold allegiance only to their private groups' goals.
  17. The illuminati was already a global organization at the the time of their banning (fifteen years after their founding). They were engaged in international conspiracy and espionage. That's how they were found to be enemies and were disbanded Why would being publicly disbanded actually disband a secret conspiracy society? It didn't. They still exist and still plot for world domination.
  18. Why don't we just ban murdering people with guns.
  19. Well, then people can simply die because it is too expensive to desalinate our plentiful h2o. Hail capitalism
  20. It's expensive to get it...like I said, an economic problem.
  21. The illuminati is a historically real organization.
  22. There should not be a mandated minimum wage. It lends itself to colonialism. In 30 years, the minimum wage has doubled yet its value has decreased 10%. it's obviously a failed attempt at stability.
  23. The world is something like 2/3 water...we have an economic problem, not a shortage.
