As the Rescue teams move through the city with the help of the Citizen Guard they the full effect of the earthquake can be seen. The destructive force has leveled a great deal of the southern part of the city. The Police along with the Belverian Guard have established law and order and the Belverian Congress has elected to enforce a mandatory curfew starting at 8PM and running till 8AM. Belverian's Minister of the Interior has stated the amount of money to clean up and rebuild could be in the hundred of millions plus the costs to relocate families until their homes have been rebuilt. The estimated death toll has went from 135 to 589 as several multi tier housing complexes were recently discovered with many residents trapped inside. Despite this increase the number of those that have survived and are currently being moved to special relief housing are far greater. The Belverian National Emergency Agency (BNEA) has announced that it has increased the amount of aid given to the population with the approval of the Minister of the Interior. President Drecq of the USB has announced he will be heading to North Point to see the damage for himself and to help coordinate with the BNEA the relief effort.

Breaking News A magnitude 6.9 earthquake has struck the southern section of North Point. Reports are still coming in that there has been massive damage to the southern section of the city and its outlaying areas. The Citizen Guard along with local Police and Rescue teams have been dispatched into the area. Reports indicate that power to the southern section of the city has been cut due to downed power lines and natural gas lines have been shut down to prevent more fires from breaking out in the harder hit areas. An estimated 38,000 citizens are located in the southern part of the city and its outlaying area's currently reports indicated that there has been 135 known fatalities with many more expected to be found as the days go by. The Police and Rescue from the neighboring cities of November City and Comberth Harbor have been dispatched along with the Belverian Guard from Belna. The United States of Belveria offer their condolences to the Imperial Family and the people of Chernigov, as well as the hope that the culprit is caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Recently an issue with the Belverian Communication Network caused a mass outage. A communication array located in the capital had been damaged due to an accident involving power surge at a network node. This caused an outage, that until now has caused a nationwide blackout. The Minister of Internal Affairs is looking into the situation and Congress is working the creation of a new bill that would lead to the creation of a backup system to be put in place just in case something like this happens again. The President of Belveria was recalled to the nation and was unable to make it to the Meetings scheduled with foreign dignitaries, he is currently looking at rescheduling his meetings soon.

President Drecq has announced and finalized his traveling arrangements and will be leaving the United States of Belveria soon on an unmarked aircraft escorted by four K-02 Wyvern. The list is as follows: Sweden France Italian Empire Kingdom of Evenstar Kingdom of Hequ Chernigov Caledonia Portugal Colony Natynozh The President will be accompanied by a small detachment of the Civil Guard and his Minister of Foreign Affairs William McBride.

The President of the United States of Belveria is has announced plans to go on a Diplomatic Tour of Europe. He hasn't released all the locations he plans on stopping but has stated that he would be visiting France and Sweden first to show his thanks for the assistance they have offered in the USB's reconstruction efforts after the last war. "I hope to visit several European nations in the hope of establishing some ties for future economic efforts as well as creating lasting allies." stated President Drecq. The Belverian Congress has met already and has discussed other nations that they may want to seek to make ties with but they have yet to release that information at this time citing security concerns.

The United States of Belveria would also like to contribute to the anti-missile project.

The people of the United States of Belveria appreciate all the assistance. We are seeking allies and hope to continue increasing our friendships with many different nations. The Senate of the United States of Belveria has agreed to accept any aid given to our nation including military assistance during our time of Reconstruction and rebuilding after the war. We thank all those that are seeking to assist us.

The newly elected Government of Belveria has announced the end of hostilities and the end of the Erusean Imperial Government. The last of the Erusean officers have been detained for crimes against the state, and for war crimes. The remaining Esper-VI Mobile Launchers have been taken into Belverian hands. The trucks have been moved to an undisclosed location for safe keeping. President Drecq announced that all funds will be directed to rebuilding city infrastructure and needed facilities such as Hospitals and Resource Buildings. "We need to focus on building the economy and improving our people's lives. This means some cuts in the Military was needed and I expect the Military may not like that." Military Officials have stated that the military needed funds to rebuild a small defense force but it has gained little in the way of funds. Resources given to Belveria from Sweden and France have been distributed in several cities and the medical supplies have reached Hospitals across the country.

Will that escalated quickly.

It could, considering the consequences of launching nukes now.

The United States of Belveria and its people are grateful for the assistance of both The Kingdom of Sweden and the Impérial Empire du France. The medical supplies will be stationed at a warehouse in the capital city under guard of the Belverian Guard. It will then be shipped via trucks to the effected area's with support from local police and local military personal. Why not just make a UN for Orbis and have alliance sign a treaty stating you all are going to abolish all your nukes or maintain a small amount and hug one another and get it over with. Seems easier to me. Of course there will be Alliances that wont sign the treaty or sign up with the UN and you can call them "Rouge" alliances or whatever. Just a thought.

Eh you know, long day, got a headache and such weather change always effects me this way...darn nuclear winter is a drag if you know what I mean.

Ahhh the truth is not shown into light, its ok for SOME nations and people to have freedom to "spy away nukes" but is taboo and not ok for others to produce a large amount of nukes. You all really that butt hurt over the nukes and food thing?

Does this not in some way take away from the rights of a nation? I mean imposing such a rule would leave some to believe that they are not "free" to do as they seem fit. Not arguing though, this does sound interesting to say the least.

The United States of Belveria would indeed like to establish diplomatic relations to the Kingdom of Sweden. We have faith that in due time the war will come to a close. But any supplies for the citizens and medical supplies would be greatly appreciated.
