  1. The terms in the OP are simple, and easy to understand. Moreover they are quite reasonable. I've no interest in discussing them anymore. If players want to take utilize them as a way out, they can. If they don't want to, they don't have to. It doesn't make one iota of difference to us either way.
  2. Are you people unable to read? The terms say: 1) Decom all military units except for soldiers. You can keep all the soldiers you want, be it 1 or 100,000
  3. Then they can stick out the war till the end, and take whatever alliance wide terms get negotiated. But we're not letting nations surrender in the middle of a war, only to see them pop up 5 days from now with a full slate of missiles. That would be stupid.
  4. Nations from UPN, DEIC and BOC who wish to exit the war must meet the following terms. 1) Decom all military units except for soldiers. 2) Decom the Missile Launch Pad, if you possess one. 3) Decom all spies. 4) Put alliance wide embargoes into place against DEIC, UPN and BOC. These embargoes must remain in place for the duration of the war. 5) No longer be a member of DEIC, UPN or BOC in-game. Surrendering nations may not rejoin DEIC, UPN, or BOC until the war is over. IMPORTANT NOTE: Not all nations will be eligible to surrender. We strongly suggest that before you decom your military, you ensure that your surrender will be accepted. If you have any questions, contact a government member of the alliances your opponents are in. These terms are from the whole coalition, that is to say TEst, Rose, SK and Guardian. EDIT 2: For those unclear, these are not alliance surrender terms. These are surrender terms for individual nations who want to leave the war now, and not wait for their alliances to agree on alliance-wide terms. (I deeply apologize for the lack of fantastic graphics to which you have become accustomed. The heathens in the coalition prohibited me from using them.)
  5. (Not mine, credit to Ragnar)
  6. Congratulations on your elections, and to your continuing leaders.
  7. I've heard tell of a myth round these parts, called The Supreme Gentlemen. The legends say it was a long lost cousin of GPA, that failed to maintain even that level of marginal relevance, and dissipated into the ether.
  8. Emmad and AuremLunems are two separate people. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure MoonRider is saying Emmad is not informed about the facts of the war, not Saru isn't informed of the facts about who is in gov.
  9. Thanks to Saru for coming on! It was a fun show with a lively discussion. Appreciate it very much. The show has been uploaded, and can be listened to from the SK Radio Archive page. http://7kingdoms.net/radio/archives/
  10. Eh. I think the benefit from causing an attacker to use all attack types is outweighed by the negative of taking away literally the only option left for a badly overmatched defender. I'm with Hans on this one. The simplest solution if we're really worried about this issue would be to just make the Iron Dome project more effective at blocking missiles. Make it 50% instead of 20% or whatever it is now.
  11. Marionette jokes only Jodo. Have some standards.
  12. I don't believe we have any guests booked for the show this week, so anyone who wants to come on, drop us a line.
  13. Sure. I agree with that. Again, to go back to my experience with PT, we did exactly that. We didn't have an automated system, but when there was an offense we would flag each nation, which triggered an alert and told them to contact moderation/come to the forums to explain what was going on. We had a mod whose job specifically was to check the list of IP's with multiple nations every day, but there's no reason that flag couldn't be automated instead if Sheepy prefers.
  14. I'm legitimately creeped out now. Gonna definitely be seeing those abominations in my dreams. Thanks for that Malone.
  15. 10/10. Job well done. I laughed several times. We have a clear winner. And I can't wait for Scene 2.
  16. And you're a moron. The time of attack, in all wars not planned by idiots, is entirely dictated by what tactical advantages can be seized through the timing. Game mechanics benefit a late night attack, because troop buying and spies are tied to update. In this case, there was an additional advantage in that much of the leadership (though certainly not all) of our opponents was not likely to be online. Taking advantage of that, is once again, strategy and tactics. (By the way, since it's unclear if you're aware of this or not, time is relative. Our attack came before 10pm server time, and 15 minutes before midnight where I live. For other people it was noon, or 5am, or 5pm. Any time you attack is going to be when someone is asleep. It's certainly no fault of ours if the optimal time to attack, dictated by game mechanics, happens to be when you are asleep.)
  17. If the goal of the attack is to destroy ships, and you're destroying large numbers of them, it is, by definition, not a failure, let alone an Utter Failure. A synonym for "Utter Failure" is "Total Failure." A total failure, when the objective of the attack was to destroy ships, would mean you didn't destroy any ships. This is not complicated. It's clearly a bug, or if you don't want to use that term, a severely flawed game mechanism where what the game says happened, didn't happen.
  18. The key difference being that TC curbstomped one alliance, after they were convinced that alliance would be on its own, because at some point in the not so recent past, they'd briefly tried, and miserably failed, at gathering a coalition of their own. We're attacking the only bloc in the game, with 3 top 10 alliances, that is numerically far superior to our forces, after they had already actually curbstomped one alliance.
  19. I have no idea where you got this idea that the protectorate extended "2 weeks or something" past cancellation. It was right there in black and white in the treaty text that protection ended 4 days after notice of cancellation was served. Cancellation was announced a day or two before you attacked TAC. Even if II had attacked you the very next day after cancellation, (which they clearly couldn't have, having not militarized at all) to avoid this scenario you're painting, you would have needed to hold off on hitting II for 2-3 days. Hardly the end of the world. Of course putting together the obvious pieces would have told you that even that wasn't going to be necessary. Between the timing of cancellation (right after word started floating that TAC wanted to treaty II, the fact that we, not very subtly, indicated our obvious irritation with II's FA direction in the cancellation text, and the multiple sources telling you SK had no interest in any "coalition to roll TC", it was blindingly obvious that SK wouldn't be joining any coalition to do anything to UPN and co. And of course you put those pieces together. You're just trying to spin now, which is what happens in war, so spin away. (And if you didn't put those pieces together, that really doesn't speak well of the competence of UPN leadership, and especially FA at the time.)
  20. We're declaring on the alliance(s) listed in the OP. We may be long winded, but we're precise about what what put in our documents. And as for Kyte that's hunting down a traitor.
  21. Keegoz isn't in SK. Come now, we may have Ragnar, but we do have some standards. Aside from that, carry on.
  22. You knew damn well there wasn't a coalition to take you out, certainly not one that was in any way credible. And trying to pretend SK - Guardian - TAC - is a coalition you thought was forming to roll you, when you made it clear at the time that you knew it wasn't, is some pretty intricate mental gymnastics. 05:30 Casey: Surprisingly, SK and Guardian aren't too fond of TAC, at least from TAC's prospective 05:30 Casey: (01:40:32 PM) Pubstomper: at least thats how it feels. 05:30 Casey: (01:40:16 PM) Pubstomper: Still isnt really 05:30 Casey: (01:40:25 PM) Pubstomper: SK and Guardian view us as kids still 05:30 Casey: (01:40:32 PM) Pubstomper: at least thats how it feels. 05:30 Hans|UPN|Away: That's because they're arrogant snobs (10:23:23 PM) Hereno: they had me in the talks trying to get me against you guys (10:23:28 PM) Casey: Really? (10:23:29 PM) Casey: !@#$ (10:23:35 PM) Hereno: guardian and SK aren't very gung-ho about the idea (10:23:38 PM) Hereno: and Atlas is !@#$ stupid 16:32 Hereno: they have themselves, TSG who are useless, and then two know-nothings on the second page 16:32 underlordgc: will get 6th city and can fight Phimney and adama easier 16:32 Hereno: one of which got dropped like a hot potato when the bloc came to fruition 16:32 underlordgc: no 16:33 underlordgc: TEst is the strongest per soize 16:33 underlordgc: well 16:33 underlordgc: maybe 16:33 Hereno: test is barely even alive 16:33 underlordgc: Half their members left[ 16:33 underlordgc: I suppose it waits to be seen 16:33 Hereno: you have the 2-4 alliances and SK/Guardian are playing it safe, which is good because you're on the top (10:36:32 PM) Hereno: no, prefontaine already knows (10:36:44 PM) Casey: I'm sure SK must know too (10:36:46 PM) Hereno: they tried to get SK and Guardian on board and they said no because they saw what i did 10:36:48 PM) Hereno: that it was !@#$ stupid
  23. Rofl. Just Rofl. There is a problem with your version of events, my friend. Weeks before TC rolled out, when TAC tried to form a coalition, they were essentially laughed out of the room. But I guess that spoils the narrative of everyone being out to get poor little TC and keeping them isolated. (It is by the way, ludicrous in itself to call a bloc that had at the time 3 of the top 6? 7? alliances in the game "isolated.") Also, allow me to present selected snippets from your leadership planning to roll TAC. Hmm. Man, it really seems almost like TC leadership (both Caey and Hans are in that convo) knew there was no "coalition" plotting to bring TC down and isolating TC. It's almost like they knew that TAC, SK and Guardian weren't even all that close. And it's almost like the leader of your alliance is the one looking at other alliances in disdain and wanting nothing to do with them. From the same convo. Look! Yet more logs suggesting TC leadership knew there was no coalition out to get them. Hmm. Yet more evidence suggesting that your leadership was and is the group with nothing but contempt for the other alliances involved in this, and the desire to roll them. But please tell me more about how it was this "coalition" isolating UPN and TC and failing to be friendly with you. You can go back to your fantasy world now.
