Major Shift in Trade Policy

The people of Guayana have convened and a major shift in trade policy has resulted in a lifting of the embargoes on New Red Alliance and Placentica.

One person was quoted as saying,

We just don't see much of a point in singling out Placentica over other upper tier nations; it seemed too much like a bowser shell.

The embargo against Spanish State, also known as "Francoist Spain", is still in effect.

One citizen issued the following edict against Spanish State:

!@#$ you, you !@#$ stupid fascist.

She then spit on the ground and took an aggressive posture.

Hereno Named President of Socialist International

Comrade Hereno of Guayana has recently been named President of the alliance "Socialist International".

Joining him as Vice President will be soultak3r1, while both Dongs and Gracchus Babeuf hold the title "Former President".

Analysts say that the move will be applauded among members of the Socialist International, whilst non-members will be significantly more likely to condemn the return of Hereno and the pre-war administration style with a single President.

And I still don't care.  If people want to profit less by limiting potential buyers and sellers, embargo away.

North Korea Declared Best Korea

While overseeing developments in the Anna Regina metropolitan area, it came to the attention of President Comrade Hereno that South Korea had embargoed the entirety of the Socialist International!

At once, the people of Guayana passed a statement showing their support for North Korea. One makeshift parliamentarian had this to say:

South Korea is absolutely garbage, and their leader is a parasitic monkey demon from Sumatra. North Korea is Best Korea and will lead the world to victory over capitalism in the 21st Century.

Some citizens, however, had their reservations about supporting North Korea.

North Korea doesn't even like us. They're a wanna-be Stalinist dictatorship and their president is overweight (we would never elect a 'fatty')!

President Comrade Hereno could not be reached for contact.

OOC:

it's a reference to http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/09/world/asia/north-korea-insults-obama/

North Korea's state media KCNA described President Barack Obama using racial epithets and likened him to a "wicked black monkey."

The most offensive piece, published in Korean on May 2 under the title "Divine punishment to the world's one and only delinquent Obama," repeatedly refers to him as a monkey.

"You can also tell this by his appearance and behavior, and while it may be because he is a crossbreed, one cannot help thinking the more one sees him that he has escaped from a monkey's body," it stated.

Recently, KCNA has directed misogynistic slurs at South Korea's President Park Geun-hye, calling her an "indecent philistine and vile prostitute serving the U.S." They've accused her of bungling the Sewol ferry accident and criticized her close association with U.S., saying she has a mental disease.

City of Caracas Founded!

In the blink of an eye, the city of Caracas has been founded. Workers from around the area have already built a substantial amount of infrastructure, and much land has been cleared. This was made possible in part by the Socialist International alliance, of which Hereno is the sitting President, and the exceptional economic programs that define the alliance.
