QuatroQuatro
I was wondering how much winter affects the amount of food you have or if it just affects how much you make

Anneal
Winter decreases food production by 20%, and summer increases food production by 20%. Spring and Autumn have no effect on food production. Depending on which hemisphere your nation is, Winter can occur from Nov-Feb in the Northern and Jun-Sep in the Southern. Stockpile on food acquired from the summer, or simply buy food off the market. Food honestly doesn't cost that much. Some nations survive even when they lose food each turn.
RagnarBuliwyf
Food's easy to make. Spam one city with 8 farms and buy the rest from the market.
Atzuya
^and don't forget get a lot of land for that city for increased food production
TheCaptain
Yeah if you have a bunch of farms with no land they will be useless. But also putting 8 farms on one city may not be the best idea because this takes away slots from other more valuable improvements like commerce or production. Lord Bagel
I didn't understand why it was winter in The Kosher Deli until i got to this thread. As per food, i have no farms and just buy the cheapest food i can off the market Quote <&Partisan> I'm roleplaying a not snake
Aisha Greyjoy
Food is relatively profitable to sell. Therefor, it is not a good resource to buy. Get some farms! Edit: I see you do coal/bauxite. Those are also profitable to sell. Pro-tip: Consolidate both barracks in 1 city, and drop the power plant in the other city. Resource buildings don't need power.
