Popular Post Dwynn
The Prophet sat up from his bed with a bolt, sweat running in rivulets down his body, his bed clothes soaked. "Again?" he thought to himself, "Why must I be gifted with such visions when none will believe me as I retell them?" He thought on this for a great while before coming to a conclusion. Perhaps instead of retelling his visions to the non-believers, he would write them down. That way when the visions came to pass, the past scrawling would reveal itself as truth. He rummaged around his house looking for supplies. Being unprepared for this thought, he grabbed what spare paper he found and a pen. Unrolling the paper, be began to record the vision that was gifted to him from the Almighty. "The giants will cast aside their chains and rise up. In their massive state, they will look upon those below with disdain. Standing among the clouds, the giants will seek to separate themselves. Held aloof, they will create their castles in the clouds, atop the highest mountains, and shut themselves away from the world. Those who once knew the giants will slowly forget of their once jolly demeanor. Their existence will begin to be feared." The Prophet stopped... Was this the vision that the Almighty bestowed to him? He searched his cupboards and withdrew from their closeted embrace a small bottle. Dusty, label peeling, and towards the back to remain unseen, the bottle housed his nectar. Unstopping the bottle he began to imbibe it's contents. After a few short moments, the effects of the nectar were felt and he sighed happily. Awash with a warm sensation as if floating in a bed of hot air. Slowly the Prophet drew in a long breath and held it, focusing on the floating sensation. Awash in the sensation, visions grabbed him again. Flashes of things that held little meaning to him. A large rouge flower dripped blood, a crown sat broken on a throne. The caw of a raven called out across darkness. A sword lay shattered, and a shield in need of mending. A man sat on a stump of wood and spoke, and his speech brought the scent of lilacs. The tinkle of little bells danced melodiously on the air. Amidst it all, the faint hint of a mad laughter whispered in the distance, at the feet of the man on the stump sat an old skull. As the Prophet lost hold of the visions, he began to scribble quickly what he could recall. After he was sure he had recorded all that he could recall he sat back and pondered the meaning of the visions long into the night until sleep found him. naTia
It seems to me the Almighty wishes to bestow upon us knowledge that non-believers were never meant to understand. Perhaps I do not understand, but I ponder whether bloodied ground and broken sword is war or a party gone awry. Khestra
The only True High Powers are The Infinite Ward and the Activi Sun. Your God means nothing to us. "Do not ask which creature screams in the night. Do not question who waits for you in the shadow. It is my cry that wakes you in the night, and my body that crouches in the shadow. I am Tzeentch and you are the puppet that dances to my tune..." - The Book of Tzeentch Gods no one has heard of and do nothing for you are not gods at all. All worlds know the names of the warp's Great Pantheon, for a billion pyres made from the flesh and fat of unbelievers and their worthless gods burn everlasting as proof of their favor. You are in no position to judge divinity, you lack even the senses to comprehend it. Prophecy is the remit of the Great Changer, Tzeentch the Conspirator, The Damnation Oracle, King of the Court of the Lords of Change, one of the aspects of the Ruinous Powers of the Warp, and only the foolish ignore the heeds and words of the Fateweaver. Pwnius Scrubius
You have one thing wrong, my High Powers have done much for me. Faze and Optic are united into Fazptic, the nation of Codius still exists, and the Powers have granted me the ability to be in SI. Praise be the Ward and the Sun! Dwynn
One might truly question if that is a gift or a punishment from your god. The Almighty's gifts never have such questions behind their meaning. Quote He's right, I'm such a stinker. Play my exceptional game!
