Kim Jong-Il
Whenever you look at other nation's cities, their average income is much less than it should be. Looking at the top nation's cities, which have 100% commerce, it appears that their average income is signifigantly less than mine, and I have no more than 64% commerce on any of my cities. Phiney
I believe average income is linked to your policies, which are purely asthetic and do not actually effect your income.
Kim Jong-Il
I believe average income is linked to your policies, which are purely asthetic and do not actually effect your income. I assumed that the desc. said that it wouldnt affect any gameplay effects, including average income. If thats the case, I'd probably change the policy desc. to make it more clear on that, as it only currently states that "Only the overall result of your survey is shown on your nation page." Grillick
It affects average income, but has an equal and opposite effect on your tax rate, which makes policy changes revenue-neutral. 2 Quote "It's hard to be a team player when you're omnipotent." - Q
Tim Armstrong
Yeah, nations that are far right leaning have higher average income but lower tax rate vs. the left leaning that have lower average income but higher tax rate. You can only see your own tax rate so that might be throwing you off. In total it evens out and has been built so it can not be manipulated to increase one nation's revenue.
