Cheaper Land Project/Domestic Policy

I've been giving some though to a new National Project idea or Domestic Policy.

It is my preference that the following suggested mechanic would work best as a National Project and not as a Domestic Policy.

The idea stemmed from the Domestic Policy of Urbanization which reduces costs of infrastructure and I realized there is no mechanic to reduce land costs.

I though adding such a mechanic would be welcomed by some players.

Such a mechanic can be introduced as a project named "Agricultural Mastery" rather than a domestic policy and have the following effects:

Agricultural Mastery - Agricultural Mastery is a national project that reduces the cost of land in cities by 5%. Agriculural Mastery also increases food production in your nation by 2% and reduces pollution in your cities by 1%. Agricultural Mastery requires Irrigation System National Project an City Planning/Civil Engineering National Project.

I should probably be replying at the beige removal sudden update, but too many people said what I would lol..
So:
1) Land is very cheap, compared to infrastructure(and doesn't really affect much at some specific point
2) I think it's not a necessity and therefore putting time on this project, while there's 404 things that needs a fix is useless
3) No:P

Eh, I suppose, just thought it would at least have some relevance as most nations do seek to expand in one way or another through means other than just buying the land.

Thought maybe itd make a decent project or mechanic in game

Part of this is already on the docket for my next update:

  • New Domestic Policy

  1. Rapid Expansion - 5% discount to land purchased

Always keep your foes confused. If they are never sure who you are or what you want, they cannot know what you are like to do next.
Sometimes the best way to baffle them is to make moves that have no purpose, or even seem to work against you.

It's like I'm reading a book and it's a book I deeply love. I'm reading it slowly now so the words are really far apart and the spaces between the words are almost infinite. I can still feel the words of the story, but it's in this endless space between the words I find myself now It's a place that's not of the physical. It's where everything else is. This is where I am now, and who I am.

Rather than reduce pollution by 1% it should stop farms from producing pollution
